She was a Catholic nun who lived in the 16th century, known for living a life of prayer and for her writings, among them "The Way of Perfection." Teresa was sitting in the convent's kitchen one day with a roasted chicken. She grabbed the chicken in both hands and began gnawing at it, just devouring that chicken. One of the nuns walked into the kitchen and was horrified at the undignified way Sister Teresa was eating that chicken. Teresa said: "When I eat chicken, I eat chicken; when I pray, I pray."
