I couldn't get a good look at the cross but it appeared to be the so-called Cross of St. James, apparently a common emblem in the Armenian church, outlined in red and with the Armenian initials for "Saint James" (which, as I recall it, resemble a U and a 3) in blue on the center. I couldn't see the design well enough to sketch it, and it's probably too complicated for my drawing skills without a scan to work from, so the verbal description will have to do. I didn't see this flag at any of the other Armenian sites I went by, only the Armenian national flag.

Extractions: Learning to Walk with Jesus Connect with others and get a firm foundation on what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. Learning to Walk with Jesus is a great class to help you get started in your walk with Christ. Gresham Foursquare Church was first chartered in November 1938 by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (the charter is signed by Aimee Semple McPherson herself). It disbanded during World War II. In 1955, Emery and Winnifred Brunet moved from Idaho where they had started several Foursquare churches, to Corbett Oregon to serve as directors at Camp Crestview . Years earlier, they had received a vision and prophetic word that they were to be involved in planting another church, one that would be a place of peace and healing where lost and hurting sheep could be loved back to wholeness. They rented the foyer of the old Moyer Theater, where Main City Park is now. The Brunetts faithfully conducted three Sunday services - morning, afternoon and evening, and people began to trickle in. Gresham Foursquare Church eventually outgrew the theater. God then provided an old Assembly of God Temple at 4th and Kelly for a dollar a year. They had enough members to reactivate the charter in 1956.

FAQ Grapevine Fellowship Foursquare Gospel Christian Church We are a Foursquare Gospel church focusing on the special needs of people Grapevine Church is part the international church of the foursquare gospel, http://www.grapevinefellowship.com/Grapevine FAQ.htm
Extractions: Grapevine FAQ What is Communion? What is Water Baptism? How do we support our Missionaries? What does Foursquare stand for? ... What is ... ? Communion is one of two sacrament celebrated at Grapevine. Communion is what Jesus encouraged His disciples to when He broke bread and drank wine with them, the two items signifying His broken body on the cross, and the blood He shed for our sin, respectively. Jesus told them (and us) to "Remember Me", and the price He paid for us. (Luke 22:17-20, Mark 14:22-25) Communion is a time of personal reflection, a time to pray and seek God concerning any sin or attitude that we might need to repent of and deliver to the cross. However, communion is a corporate undertaking, i.e., we examine ourselves individually so that we may come together and partake of the bread and wine (we use grape juice) with one another. (1 Cor. 11:23-31) We serve open communion, at Grapevine, which means that it isnt necessary to be a member. If you are in the body of Christ, we welcome you to join us. We serve Communion at all services on the first Sunday of the month. Back to Top What is Water Baptism?

Extractions: Foursquare Gospel Church Womens ministry is essential to the body of Christ. The Foursquare Church has a great history of Women in ministry. The church was founded by Aimee Semple McPherson, a farm girl from Canada who, through the power of God, envisioned a denomination centered on Christ. With this foundation it is obvious that womens ministry would be important to the continued vision of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel and to River of Life as well. Foursquare Women International is dedicated to affirming, equipping, mobilizing and releasing the women in the Foursquare Church. The goal is to serve the local church by helping Foursquare women discover their true identity in Christ Jesus, release their gifts in faithful service within their local church, stand together in expressing to their communities and country those values which exalt God and benefit their neighbors, and enjoy the freedom which Christ has given each Spirit-filled woman in her home, church and career. In February 1995, women from across North America and from several other nations gathered in Ft. Worth, Texas for the First Foursquare Women's Leadership Conference. River of Life supports and promotes the FWI goal. The first Thursday of every month is dedicated to Womens Ministry. Elaine LeRoy, wife of Pastor David LeRoy, is gifted in womens ministry. The format of the meeting generally starts with prayer followed by a Bible study that is centered around specific womens topics. After the study there are refreshments (provided by different members of the meeting each month) and fellowship. The fellowship is always enjoyable and provides a way for the women to become more connected.
Family Fellowship Foursquare Church - Our History! international church of the foursquare gospel. Church History In 1934, a groupof Christians came from Lorain, OH with two women evangelists, http://www.familyfellowship.net/aboutus/church_history.php
Extractions: The term "Foursquare Gospel" came about during an intense revival in the city of Oakland, California in July 1922. As thousands had gathered to hear the gospel, the evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson described a vision God had given her, taken from Ezekiel's vision in the book of Ezekiel, chapter one. During the years between 1958 and 1971, the growth rate of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel slowed. During this season, however, roots were being deepened and church facilities were relocated and improved allowing for more efficient use of resources. Likewise, this period of time allowed Foursquare to further establish a policy of balance and openness to Charismatic movements that set the stage for a period of stimulation and new growth.
