ACTIVITIES OF THE QADIANIS
WHO ARE QADIANIS OR AHMADIS?
Extracts
“The greater part of my life has been spent in supporting and defending the British Government. I have written so many books regarding the prohibition of Jehad and loyalty to the British that, were they to be gathered together, they would fill fifty almirahs. I have distributed these books in all countries: Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Kabul and Rum.’ At another place, the Mirza writes: “From my early age till now when I am about sixty years old, I have been engaged with my pen and tongue in an important task: to turn the hearts of Muslims towards true love, goodwill and sympathy for the British Government, and to obliterate the idea of Jehad from the hearts of the less wise among them, since these stand in the way of sincerity and frank and honest mutual relations” The Qadiani community, in sum, kept strictly away from all nationalist movements, from its inception. It took no part in the struggle for freedom, neither during the lifetime of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, nor after his death. What is more, it took pleasure in the injustices and atrocities perpetrated by the Western Imperialists on the Islamic World. The Qadianis remained completely indifferent to all-popular endeavours of the Muslims, and to the problems and movements which sprang from Islamic consciousness. Their sole concern was to engage in religious polemics and make minute distinctions in argument or issues like the death of the Messiah, the life of the Messiah, the descension of the Messiah and the Apostleship of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

You have lately published a challenge for Mubahala. I should not have considered the pamphlet worth any attention because this is my normal practice with Qadiani outbursts but on return from abroad, I found a copy of your challenge in my mail, and I have been specifically asked to answer. Therefore it devolves on me to give you this reply. Here are some points in answer: 1. ALLAH EXTOLS THOSE WHO FIGHT APOSTATES
At the outset, let me thank you for having included the name of this humble self in the list of opponents of the Arch Liar of the Present times, i.e., Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani - the 'Musailma' of the Punjab. You have done me a great honour, indeed, which Quran Majeed has recounted in these words:

The Shiahs in the introduction of Nahjul Balaaghah revile the eminent Sahaabi, Hadhrat Abu Musaa Ash'ari (Radiallahu Anhu) in the following way: "A weak and old man, named Abu Moosa Ashari, who was also secretly hostile to Hadhrat Ali be nominated as the arbitrator from this side (i.e. the side of Hadhrat Ali)." "...these arbitrators (i.e. Abu Musaa Ashari and Amr Ibn Aas) sold the cause of Islam along with their souls to the Devil. "Abu Moosa-e-Ashari, was a man with weak faith more inclined to look after his worldly interest than the cause Of religion."

Sept/Oct. 2004: Mr. Shahid Hameed of this village, a convert to Ahmadiyyat is facing great hardships and blatant persecution at the hands of the mullah and officialdom. He is on the run and faces criminal charges. His situation is stated below briefly. (A case under section PPC 298C was registered on 2nd November, 2004 vide FIR No.312/04 against four Ahmadis.) We do not have the up-date; however the mullah and the police are acting as a team to harass the entire Ahmadiyya community of the village. This is how they implement the much trumpeted policy of enlightened moderation Ahmadis - step children of the state Adrahma , District Sargodha; October 30, 2004: Adrahma has a sizable Ahmadi population; however non-Ahmadis receive active support from mullahs like Toofani (cyclone) of Sargodha and maintain a state of uneasy peace in the village. Recently they put up an anti-Ahmadiyya poster on a hut. It was very abusive and provocative.

(Abu Dawood Vol 2 p. 228; Tirmidhi Vol 2 p.45) Those who will live (after me) will see much dissension (among the Muslims); so adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah (way) of the rightly guided successors after me; cling to that with your teeth. Beware of novelties (in the Deen), for every novelty is an innovation, and every innovation is a deviation (from the true guidance). "
At-Thirmidhee In Holy Quran Mentioned:
( Surah ar-Room (30): 31-32)
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is the founder of Ahmadiyya Movement which was founded in 1889 in the Punjab, India. His main claim is that he is the " Promised Messiah " which mentioned in the Quran (Promised Messiah in the Quran refers only to Prophet Jesus (Isa) PBUH, Muslim scholars all unanimously agree on that). He must have mistakenly interpreted the Quran. If he was the Promised Messiah why he didn't do the things that Promised Messiah had to do, as explained in the Quran and Hadith, such as being the Just Ruler? Or to kill Dajjal? Or to rule the world from Jerusalem? He died and none of this things happened. Does that make him a holy man or a heretic? If he is not a Messiah and didn't do the things that Messiah had to do then is he a prophet? As we know Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the last prophet and there will be no prophet after him. That makes him neither Promised Messiah nor a Prophet. So why people still follow him?

C. A STUDY OF THE AHMADIYYA MOVEMENT Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian During the latter part of the last century the Muslims of the Punjab area in north-west India began to take notice of a Muslim writer from the village of Qadian named Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. This man wrote a number of treatises attacking Christianity and Hinduism and in 1880 began an extensive work entitled Barahin-i-Ahmadiyah which defended Islam from the onslaughts of Christian missionaries and the Arya Samaj, a militant Hindu organisation. At first this work, published in four volumes, was favourably received by the Muslims and it appeared that a mujaddid , a worthy defender of Islam, had risen. These sentiments, however, soon gave way to almost universal opposition as the Mirza began to make one extravagant claim after another for himself. He arrogated to himself the title of "promised Messiah", that is, one raised in the Spirit of Jesus whom the Muslims believed would return to earth but whom the Mirza said was buried at Srinagar, a town in the Punjab. He also claimed to be the Mahdi as well as a prophet of Allah and even a re-incarnation of Krishna, one of the leading Hindu idols!

On the appearance of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru's three articles in The Modern Review of Calcutta , I received a number of letters from Muslims of different shades of religious and political opinion. Some writers of these letters want me to further elucidate and justify the attitude of the Indian Muslims towards the Ahmadis. Others ask me what exactly I regard as the issue involved in Ahmadism. In this statement I propose first to meet these demands which I regard as perfectly legitimate, and then to answer the questions raised by Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. I fear, however, that parts of this statement may not interest the Pandit, and to save his time I suggest that he may skip over such parts. It is hardly necessary for me to say that I welcome the Pandit's interest in what I regard as one of the greatest problems of the East and perhaps of the whole world. He is, I believe, the first Nationalist Indian leader who has expressed a desire to understand the present spiritual unrest in the world of Islam. In view of the many aspects and possible reactions of this unrest, it is highly desirable that thoughtful Indian political leaders should open their mind to the real meaning of what is at the present moment agitating the heart of Islam. It is equally obvious that the Qadianis, too, feel nervous by the political awakening of the Indian Muslims, because they feel that the rise in political prestige of the Indian Muslims is sure to defeat their designs to carve out from the Ummat of the Arabian Prophet a new Ummat for the Indian prophet

Khusro 134 pp. (PB) The articles in this book have their roots in recent events. Their theme is the carnage in Gujarat in 2002 and the physical and intellectual savagery of the Sangh Parivar. They look at how the Sangh Parivar systematically distorts history, works against the Constitution of the Republic of India and throws into the waste bin all those ideas of civilisation that have arisen after mediaeval times and on which all modern societies are based. The author has drawn on published reports to show how the leaders of the Sangh Parivar routinely use hedging, deception and outright lies to pursue their vicious ends.
