"My talking is bumpy." "The words get stuck." "My tongue stumbles." "My brain goes faster than my mouth." These are some of the things that kids say when they describe how it feels to stutter. In other words, they know what they want to say, but the words just don't come out smoothly. Kids who stutter will repeat a word or a sound or drag out part of a word. Other kids may have problems with certain sounds. For instance, "Ss" and "Zs" are tough for a kid who has a lisp. Someone who lisps says the "th" sound when they mean to use an "s" or "z" sound. Other kids have trouble only with words that have "Rs" in them. But whatever the speech problem, there is help available. What Are Stuttering and Speech Problems?
As human beings, we have the special ability to share our thoughts by talking. We start by forming a thought in our brains In the brain, this thought is changed into a code we've learned called language. Once the thought is coded into language, the brain sends a message to the muscles that control speech, telling them to move and make the right sounds come out. Then the mouth, face, neck

Center offering the Hollins Fluency System, an intensive program focusing on motor skills and the cognitive and emotional facets of stuttering.
http://www.stuttering.org/
Cutting edge research conducted by the staff of the Hollins Communications Research Institute has demonstrated the valuable role of scientific analysis in the creation of an objective, reliable, and effective 12-day treatment for stuttering . At HCRI, stuttering therapy represents a specific combination of advanced behavioral and computer technologies that enhance the learning and retention of fluent speech.
98% of HCRI program graduates say they would recommend this advanced stuttering therapy program to others who stutter. For many HCRI graduates, stuttering therapy is a one-time experience as fluency has replaced stuttering and continued therapy is not necessary. For persons who wish to have post-therapy support, HCRI offers a variety of services, including FluencyNet home or office fluency support system that is available to alumni on a 24 / 7 basis.

In studying Aesthetic Realism, at the Aesthetic Realism Foundation, the great interference in every person to expressing just who he or she is, is understood. When we don't know what keeps us from showing ourselves we have "The Ordinary Doom." Reports of Aesthetic Realism Classes
I will be adding reports of Eli Siegel's lectures I wrote, beginning with a class on the poetry of the world: "Look, the World is Poetic!" TERRAIN GALLERY 50th Anniversary Exnibition through September Wed.-Sat. 2-5 pm
In 1955, the Terrain Gallery opened. I remember the New York art scene was filled with lively discussions about art. Beauty, it was felt, couldn't be defined. Courageously, Eli Siegel asked: Is Beauty the Making One of Opposites?

Natural therapy for Stuttering - A Cure
... is a new and a very unique program that our speech disorder community will get to know and experience its results. Pick any book on stammering cures and you will see that the author does not know anything about natural remedies that can be used to treat this complex disorder very successfully. We are here to help cure your stuttering.
Even if you go to your local bookstore and pick any book on alternative medicine, it is highly unlikely that you will see the word mentioned anywhere in its content. In fact, it would not be even mentioned in almost all books on alternative medicine that you will come across. There just isn't much honest information and help on these speech disorders and this is where my site comes in.
The main objectives of my stuttering therapy program is to find and to select the best possible alternative medicine tools to deal with speech disorders. The majority of people never tried or even heard of the remedies that I will discuss in detail in my program.
The remedies have changed my life in so many ways, and they will change yours. At a very least, you will obtain a very significant improvement in your speech that will be sustained. However, I know that you will find that the results that can be obtained from using my program are truly limitless.
