The year 2004 has really been a very significant year, for all of us in IEEE Madras Section. Since we had carried out 18 technical, educational and societal meetings, including two visits by the Distinguished Lecturers, besides one International conference, one Internet conferencing with egion 10 Director, Dr. Jung Seo and 3 Gold affinity group meetings, 10 workshops in colleges, 16 inaugurations and reactivation of student Branches, 12 IEEE-PES meetings / seminars etc. 6 Joint meetings with sister institutions Our Golden handshake with SAE,India, Southern Region and addition of 16 new student Branches etc. all these activities, done with your co-operation and support, I can say, with a sense of satisfaction, the highest sofar, in our section.
In this meeting, a resolution was passed, stating that the present office-bearers may continue, till the next election
