Gentle enough for babies, to relieve diaper rash and cradle cap. Excellent for sunburn, chemical and radiation burns. High in essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic) the oil bolsters the barrier function of the skin to prevent water loss. Use sparingly. Kukui Nut Oil is Hypoallergenic, GREASELESS and ORGANIC! When used alone, without other creams or oils it soaks deep into the skin allowing the pores to breathe. Some customers enjoy the natural unscented kukui nut oil; others prefer the ‘Scented’ kukui nut oil, which is scented with lavender, rosemary and chamomile essential oils.

    Rosacea
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Moderate erythematotelangiectatic and mild papulopustular rosacea. Rosacea IPA ɹəʊ.ˈzeɪ.ʃʌ ) is a common but often misunderstood condition that is estimated to affect over 45 million people worldwide. It begins as flushing and redness on the central face and across the cheeks, nose, or forehead but can also less commonly affect the neck, chest, scalp or ears. As rosacea progresses, other symptoms can develop such as permanent redness, red bumps (some with some pus), red gritty eyes, burning and stinging sensations, small blood vessels visible near the surface of the skin, and in some advanced cases a bulbous nose. The disorder can be confused and co-exist with acne vulgaris and/or seborrheic dermatitis . People that are fair-skinned are disproportionately affected. Rosacea affects both men and women of all ages, but middle-aged women are more susceptible because of hot flashes caused by menopause

Rosacea (roseacea, roscea, rosecea or commonly adult acne) What is less frequently observed is the mental stress and anxiety that can accompany it. Social isolation and depression can follow this underrated disease, that may leave sufferers emotionally and physically scarred for life. Political correctness seems to have entered every aspect of our lives, except where skin complaints are considered. It is still common in the media to hear derogatory remarks and jokes about spotty youths, pizza face, you’ll have heard the rest and I hope it makes you as angry as it does me. If you see someone in the media trying to get cheap laughs about skin problems, make a complaint - I do - it may make them look elsewhere for their "comedy".

    What is rosacea?
Rosacea (say "rose-ay-shah") is a disease that affects the skin on the face. It often begins as redness that looks like a blush across the nose, cheeks, chin or forehead. As time goes on, red pimples and pus-filled bumps may appear. Some people also notice small blood vessels across their nose and cheeks. In some people, the skin of the nose may become red and thick. This is called rhinophyma (say "rye-no-fie-muh"). Rosacea can also affect the eyes. It may irritate and inflame the eyelids and the white part of the eye. This is called conjunctivitis. Return to top
What causes rosacea and who gets it?
No one knows the cause of rosacea. There may not be just one cause. Rosacea tends to run in fair-skinned families and tends to occur in people who blush easily. Symptoms usually begin in adults between the ages of 30 and 60. Women are more likely to get rosacea on the cheeks and chin, but men are more likely to get rhinophyma. Rosacea tends to be more severe in men. Return to top

    What is Rosacea ?
Rosacea is an inflammatory skin disorder that affects over 45 million people worldwide. Rosacea affects the facial skin and eyes. Rosacea symptoms include redness, flushing, swelling, burning sensations, pustules, visual disturbances and loss of vision. In some cases the chronic facial pain, skin disfigurement, and visual changes can result in a reduced quality of life. Rosacea is the third most common inflammatory skin disorder. Sadly, it is one of the most poorly researched. Rosacea is also widely misunderstood. Due to the lack of coordinated research and clinical testing, new treatments and medical publications have stalled over the past 10 years. Do you want to change the face of rosacea ? We do. With your help and support, the Rosacea Research Foundation can change rosacea as we know it.
    Rosacea Research Foundation Mission Statement
The Rosacea Research Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding novel research on the underlying causes of rosacea, analyzing triggers for rosacea flares, and finding effective treatments that address the root causes of the disorder. The foundation's primary objective is to raise funds for cutting-edge research and human clinical trials.
