From May to November of 2003 the server was connected to a high-speed cable line at my house, then (thanks to a friend with good connections) the server was moved into a data center at a telecom company through August of 2004. One of the options I had already been exploring was retiring the ResEx server, switching to a host based solution that wouldn't compromise our data transfer rate (around 15GB per day at the time) while not breaking our budget. The Atari 800 Emulator for the Mac This is my Macintosh port of David Firth's multi-platform Atari 800 emulator. I am no longer working on this project, but you may still find it useful. Mark Grebe is actively developing another port of this same program to Mac OS X; it is more feature-filled than mine. Also see emulation.net for other Atari emulators and emulations of other machines. This emulates any 6502-based Atari computer, plus the Atari 5200 game console. You can download either the program or the source code here. Note that you'll need copies of the built-in ROMs and some cartridges or disks to make any use of it.
