Dios mio!! .
I have seen some cases of abuse of allopathic medicaments but I think this is the worse one in all my 30 odd years .
Vaccinations by the bucketful plus antibiotics by the kilo!. I think we need to antidote the vaccinations as a first step. This will take Thuja , but a low potency will not do. Get some Thuja Cm Take ONE ONLY tablet at night before going to sleep. 20 min after brushing teeth [ with a non medicated toothpaste]

Cyproterone acetate for hirsutism (Cochrane Review)
Van der Spuy ZM, le Roux PA ABSTRACT What's new in this issue Search abstracts Browse alphabetical list of titles Browse by Review Group A substantive amendment to this systematic review was last made on 17 July 2003. Cochrane reviews are regularly checked and updated if necessary. Background: Hirsutism is a distressing and relatively common endocrine problem in women which may prove difficult to manage. Cyproterone acetate, an anti-androgen, is frequently used to treat hirsutism, usually in combination with ethinyl estradiol. Objectives: The objective of this review was to investigate the effectiveness of cyproterone acetate alone, or in combination with ethinyl estradiol, in reducing hair growth in women with hirsutism secondary to ovarian hyperandrogenism. Search strategy: The Cochrane Menstrual Disorders and Subfertility Group trials register was searched (last search - 4 June 2002). The Cochrane Menstrual Disorders and Subfertility Group register is based on regular searches of MEDLINE (1966 to 2002), EMBASE (1980 to 2002), CINAHL (1982 to 2002), PsycINFO (1987 to 2002) and CENTRAL (Issue 2, 2002 of the Cochrane Library) the handsearching of several journals and conference proceedings, and searches of several key grey literature sources. All publications of randomised controlled trials of cyproterone acetate with or without estrogen versus placebo or other drug therapies for hirsutism were identified.

Causes
True hirsutism may be due to:
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome Defects in the enzymes made by the adrenal glands Ovarian tumors Adrenal tumors Some forms of Cushing's syndrome Luteoma of pregnancy Certain drugs, including:
    • Minoxidil Cyclosporine Phenytoin Anabolic steroids Diazoxide Progestin-containing medications
    Risk Factors
A risk factor is something that increases your chance of getting a disease or condition.
    • Family members with hirsutism Lack of ovulation Disorders of the adrenal glands Use of androgens Older age
    Symptoms
Symptoms and signs of some disorders associated with hirsutism may include:
    • Excess hair growth (on the face, arms, legs, or chest) Abnormal or absent menstrual periods Decreased breast size Male-pattern baldness (in a woman) Deepened voice Increased size of clitoris High blood pressure Enlarged adrenal glands Enlarged ovaries

Hirsutism: It Is Treatable
by Pat Curry Bonnie Hayflick, of Florida, went to a dermatologist when she was 30 to see about having spider veins in her legs removed. While she was there, she asked about the coarse blonde hair around her mouth and eyebrows. The doctor recorded a diagnosis of hirsutism, defined as excessive growth of facial and body hair. She was stunned.
The Causes of Hirsutism
What the doctor didn't tell Hayflick is that hirsutism in women is often a symptom of excessive androgen, or male sexual hormones. Most cases of excess hair growth in women result from genetic factors that cause a mild increase in androgen production along with an increased sensitivity of hair follicles to androgens. Women of Mediterranean or East Indian descent tend to exhibit these characteristics more often than Asian and Nordic women. This kind of androgen-dependent hirsutism produces course hair associated with puberty. More severe hirsutism is usually associated with an underlying disorder, most commonly polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), also known as persistent anovulation or Stein-Leventhal Syndrome. Hirsutism can also be a side effect of certain medications, and in very rare cases, it can be a manifestation of congenital endocrine problems or tumors of the ovaries or adrenal glands.

Hirsutism - Excess Facial and Body Hair
Hirsutism is the growth of long, coarse hair on the face and body of women in a pattern similar to that found in men. Besides being cosmetically distressing, hirsutism may also signal the presence of a hormone imbalance or a hormone-producing tumor.
Normal hair growth
Each hair grows from a follicle deep in the skin. As long as these follicles are not completely destroyed, hair will continue to grow even if the shaft, which is the part of the hair that appears above the skin, is plucked or removed. Adults have two types of hair, vellus and terminal. Vellus hair is soft, fine, colonless, and usually short. In most women, vellus hairs grow on the face, chest, and back and give the impression of "hairless" skin. Terminal hairs are the longer, coarser, darker, and sometimes curly hairs that grows on the scalp, pubic, and armpit areas in both adult men and women. The facial and body hair in men is mostly of the terminal type.

Hirsutism
Hirsutism is defined as the excessive growth of hair on the face, chest, back, abdomen, upper arms and legs of women. Besides being a cosmetic concern, hirsutism may be a sign of an underlying hormonal disorder and a prompt evaluation for the cause of hirsutism is recommended. Excessive hair growth may be due to high levels of male hormones in the blood or increased sensitivity to the male hormones. Once a hair follicle has started to grow thicker and darker it usually can not be changed back and requires electrolysis for permanent removal. Hirsutism is often treated with a combination of hormonal therapy to lower male hormone levels, medications that inhibit the action of male hormones at the hair follicle and cosmetic treatments such as electrolysis, shaving and bleaching and laser. Introduction Hirsutism is the growth of excessive hair in women on parts of the body where hair is usually not found. This type of hair, which is characteristically dark, long and coarse, is called terminal hair . These terminal hairs are typically located in the underarms ( axillae ), pubis, scalp and eyebrows. If you are hirsute, you may experience terminal hair growth in body areas that are usually only hairy in men, such as the chest, back, and face.

Hirsutism Information The following hirsutism section is for informational purposes only. The information has been compiled from a variety of resources in order to give the reader an overview of hirsutism. Hirsutism is the development of androgen-dependent terminal body hair (dark course pigmented hair normally seen in the underarms, scalp, eyebrows and pubis) in a woman in places where this type of hair is not normally found. Remember a woman's definition of hirsutism may differ secondary to her ethnic background. Any definition of normal body hair should consider both race and ethnicity. For example, most Asian and/or Native American women have little body hair, while most women from the Mediterranean have moderately heavy body hair. However, the most important consideration in diagnosing hirsutism is the extent to which a woman's normal pattern of hair growth has changed. Although hirsutism can occur in both men and women, it is usually only a problem for women.

Cyproterone acetate for hirsutism
Van der Spuy ZM, le Roux PA
Plain language summary
Cyproterone acetate appears to be as effective as other medications for hirsutism in women caused by excessive androgen production by the ovaries
One of the causes of hirsutism (excessive hair growth) in women is excessive production of the hormone androgens by the ovaries. A variety of medications can be used to counter the effects of the androgen. Cyproterone acetate is an anti-androgen drug. Adverse effects that have been reported with its use include weight gain, depression, fatigue, breast symptoms and sexual dysfunction. The review of trials found that cyproterone acetate appears to have a similar impact on hirsutism as other drugs used for hirsutism caused by excessive androgen. There was not enough evidence to compare adverse effects of the treatment options.

    What is excessive hairiness?
Excessive hairiness, also known as hirsutism, is characterized by abnormal hair growth on areas of skin that are not normally hairy. Although the condition can affect both men and women, it usually only presents a problem to women.
    What causes excessive hairiness?
Excessive hairiness tends to run in families, especially in families of Mediterranean descent. The excessive hairiness in children and women may be caused by pituitary or adrenal glands disorders. In addition, women may develop excessive hairiness after menopause. Anabolic steroids or corticosteroids, and certain medications, also may cause excessive hairiness.
    How is excessive hairiness diagnosed?
Although diagnosis of excessive hairiness can be diagnosed with a medical history and physical examination, finding the underlying cause for the condition may include blood tests, if an endocrine disorder is suspected.
    Treatment for excessive hairiness:
Specific treatment for excessive hairiness will be determined by your physician based on:
    • your age, overall health, and medical history
