If you need to keep the right side of American compliance legislation, you're going to need some serious hardware If you haven't heard of Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, FERPA, or Gramm-Leach-Bliley, you've either just recently re-entered the workforce after a very long vacation in Siberia, or you have been so busy with that new-fangled ERP system that you haven't had the chance to read anything for, oh, the past three years. Either way, it's time to get up to speed on what these regulations mean for you and your storage systems. Sarbanes-Oxley, for example, imposes significant storage requirements and includes rigorous retention and retrieval regulation, which you must meet in order to be in compliance with the act. I will briefly discuss some of the retention and retrieval requirements in this article. Sarbanes-Oxley
The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 implies that strict retention policies and procedures must be in place. I say "implies" because the act itself does not specifically indicate exactly what should be the storage requirements, but does require corporate officers to institute internal controls on their information to ensure completeness, correctness, and quick access. One exception to the specifics: accounting firms are specifically mentioned in Sarbanes-Oxley. The act calls for accounting firms that audit publicly-traded companies to keep related audit documents for no less than seven years after the completion of an audit. Violators can face fines of up to $10m (£5.6m) and 20 years in prison.

Introduction
A recent clinical study, unrelated to food intolerances, indicates that olive oil is effective in the treatment of migraines (Journal of Adolescent Health 2002 Aug;31(2):154-161) . My own tests indicate that a minimal spraying of olive oil onto a serving of food is often enough to reduce or eliminate the headache and/or fatigue that would otherwise result from that food. This approach provides a possible alternative to the avoidance diet that many medical professionals advocate, but which may deprive people with food intolerances of essential nutrients.
I have found the oil-spraying treatment to be useful on a wide variety of foods including meat, fish, dairy foods, nuts, and many fruits and vegetables. It has overcome most of my amine intolerances, and reduces my gluten intolerance to the point where I can eat low-gluten foods such as rye and millet. The expansion of my diet afforded by the olive oil has sharply increased my stamina and eliminated chronic fatigue.
The ability of fats to facilitate absorption of nutrients into the blood stream is well known to nutritionists.

    Proper Headache Relief

    (Photo: AP)
(CBS) So you've got a headache. But don't take aspirin just yet. The first step to treating a headache is deciding what type it is.
To help us make that determination, Dr. Christine Lay, a neurologist from the Headache Institute at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York, visits The Early Show . She offers advice on how to soothe and prevent common headaches, including migraines, sinus, tension and cluster headaches.
The following is Dr. Lay's explanations and recommendations:
Migraines A migraine is a recurrent, episodic headache associated with sensitivity to light and sound. It can also be accompanied by nausea. Migraines are often misdiagnosed as sinus headaches because sufferers feel pain across the forehead and the bridge of the nose. But 50 percent migraine headaches also have pain in the sinus region. Migraine is a clinical diagnosis, which means you have to see a doctor. Typically, patients who are having more than two headaches a month should seek help from a physician, especially if "over-the-counter" (otc) drugs are not working.

Migraine headaches , frequently disappear with the proper use of EFT – download free manual. It often works where nothing else will.
With EFT you can experience quality, lasting relief without drugs. - no more sick days from work, deteriorating relationships or limits of any kind.
Migraine headaches are among humankind's most miserable maladies. Sufferers often can't work so they stay in bed and/or take strong medications until the migraine headaches pass. To my knowledge, there is no known medical cure for this disabling ailment. The meds simply help alleviate the painbut that's about all.
Interestingly, EFT has addressed headaches of all kinds and often clears them up without any medications whatsoever. Sometimes they come back (requiring more tapping) and sometimes they don't. I've seen many dissipate after applying EFT and sometimes THEY NEVER COME BACK. Is that a cure? Seems like it to me. Below is a message from Paul Lynch of the United Kingdom. It discusses his first effort at using EFT which happened to be on a this problem.. Impressive success was obtained and the client was, of course, thrilled. Her testimonial letter is included. Just one session was enough to do the trick. Val came to see me because she was at her "wit's end," and had "tried everything". We are still learning why EFT works so well. It centers around the profound effects of the body's subtle energies using the theory that "the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system." Accordingly, EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture except that we don't use needles. Instead, we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain meridian energy points while the client is "tuned in" to the problem.

    Causes of Migraine Headaches
by Sue Dyson Anyone who has ever suffered from migraine will be only too aware of the effects of the illness on daily life. According to the National Headache Foundation — an organization set up to help migraine and other headache sufferers — American industry loses around $50 billion from absenteeism and medical expenses, all linked to headache pain. In fact, headaches account for about 157 million lost working days in a year. But we are not just talking about inconvenience and economic difficulties; the cost in terms of individual suffering is infinitely higher. Apart from the practical problems they face, sufferers and their friends and families are often in a state of anxiety and bewilderment, particularly in the days following initial diagnosis.

Please take some time to find out if mild hyperbaric therapy is right for you. Keep in mind it might also be helpful for someone you know, perhaps a loved one. Hyperbaric therapy can be used to treat many conditions from mild to severe. Hyperbaric Therapy ( MHBOT) can treat Autism, ADD/ADHD, Asthma, Allergies, Bell's Palsy, Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Chronic Fatigue, Circulation problems, Crohn's Disease, Fibromyalgia, Frequent Air Travel, Hypoxia, Joint Pain, Loss of Limb, Lupus, Lyme Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, many Skin Conditions, Sports Injury, Stroke, and can be used to speed recovery from surgery, or to prepare for it.
This list is not exclusive. Hyperbaric therapy is being used by all kinds of people for various reasons. Athletes use it to recover from injuries, to train at peak performance, and to help them achieve the energy levels they need to compete. Hyperbaric Therapy is even used by some for Anti-aging, because after all a lack of oxygen at the cellular level has been linked scientifically to the aging process. The truth is, every disease has a underlying root cause of oxygen deficiency.
