Hair Loss Is Reversible
The reason for building Hairloss-reversible
I know firsthand the pain often experienced by people with hair loss. I'd like to share some of the knowledge I've gained over the years about this problem and its possible solutions. Some of the pages are technical; most are not. My suggestion is to read many of these pages so that you can gain a full understanding of the causes of the balding process. With this full understanding you'll be better able to make rational decisions about treatment options. My name is Tom Hagerty. I wrote all the pages on this Web site with the purpose of giving honest, up-to-date information about male pattern baldness and female diffuse thinning. This photo was taken a few days before my birthday - 72 years old. That's a big number but as you can see, my hair is still plentiful and naturally dark. The scalp exercises and a healthy diet may have had something to do with this. web hairloss-reversible.com

Hair Loss and Its Causes

What is the normal cycle of hair growth and loss?
At any one time, about 10 percent of the hair on your scalp is in a resting phase. After 2 to 3 months, the resting hair falls out and new hair starts to grow in its place. This growing phase lasts for 2 to 6 years. Each hair grows approximately 1 centimeter per month during this phase. About 90 percent of the hair on your scalp is growing at any one time. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of this cycle. However, some people may experience excessive (more than normal) hair loss. Hair loss of this type can affect men, women and children. Return to top
What causes excessive hair loss?
A number of things can cause excessive hair loss. For example, about 3 or 4 months after an illness or a major surgery, you may suddenly lose a large amount of hair. This hair loss is related to the stress of the illness and is temporary. Hormonal problems may cause hair loss. If your thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, your hair may fall out. This hair loss usually can be helped by treatment of the thyroid disease. Hair loss may occur if male or female hormones, known as androgens and estrogens, are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.

Do you have small patches of hair that are falling out? Go to Question 3.* 2. Are these patches red, itchy or oily? This type of hair loss can be caused by SEBORRHEA, LICHEN PLANUS or RINGWORM. See your doctor. Small, coin-sized bald areas may be from ALOPECIA AREATA. See your doctor. Are you a man who has had gradual hair loss in the front or on the top of your head and has relatives with similar hair loss? You probably have classic MALE-PATTERN BALDNESS. Many shampoos and treatments claim to reverse or slow balding. One prescription medicine, called minoxidil, is available, but it's expensive and effective for only one-third of patients. 4. Have you used any chemicals on your hair, or have you worn tight braids or cornrows that may have damaged your scalp?

There was a time, not too long ago, when baldness was something you lived with if you were a man, and covered with a wig if you were a woman. (Doctors estimate that one in every five women will experience some sort of hair loss.) Then men, bothered by their receding hairlines, began to wear hairpieces and toupees some of which were so obviously fake that they became the butt of comedians' jokes. Well, things have changed! Today, if you have thinning hair and don't want to live with the status quo, you probably have three basic options:

http://www.physicianshairgrowth.com
Remox is the brand name for the best hair loss treatment that promotes hair growth both in men and women, invented by Dr. Klein. Re-mox will grow new hair in the most difficult areas and situations where DHT becomes a problem. It uses three different strengths of Minoxidil and is a suite of astonishing hair growth products Hair loss in women is a particular problem that can be addressed using our 10% topical solution to reverse the effects of the DHT cycle. Minoxidil is particularly effective when combined with tretinoin in the correct ratio, and Remox is the best possible combination for this purpose.
Hair loss in men is a societal problem with a long history, having to do with the DHT cycle and Alpha 5 reductase issue that has gone unsolved for many years. Re-mox is a patented treatment that reverses the damaging effects of alopecia by creating a fertile environment for hair growth. Most hair loss can be traced directly to DHT levels in the scalp, and Remox is by far the best corrective measure that can be taken. Used in the proper way, Minoxidil is a powerful tool in the fight against hair loss.
Remox is a creation of Dr. Oscar Klein, a recognized leader in the field of hair loss. His Re-mox formulas each have a specific action that, when used under his supervision, will result in the most hair growth possible in any given situation. If you visit his site at www.physicianshairgrowth.com you will find a wealth of hair loss information and Minoxidil treatment options for both hair loss in men and women alike.
