De missie van dementia.nl is om actuele kennis omtrent dementie te verzamelen en te delen. Dementie betekent in het Latijn letterlijk ontgeesting, ontdaan van geest. Het is een progressieve hersenziekte met aantoonbare afwijkingen in de hersenen. Iemand die aan de ziekte lijdt verliest steeds meer de grip op het leven. Het ziekte proces gaat meestal gepaard met veel verdriet, angst, onmacht en strijd. Zowel de persoon zelf als de directe omgeving ervaren dit als een zeer pijnlijk proces. This is my first webpage, so here goes nothing... Over my short-lived web-span, I have learned to do MANY MANY things, some demented, some sane. I am making a web page to actually prove my days are a complete waste of time. (Not a complete waste, I am honing my typing skills). Is looking at the keys a bad thing? It's "kind of" free. I am paying for access, but what the Hell, it's a perk. If ya'll haven't noticed, I am a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. I love racing in general. Our local track is Mobile International Speedway .
