Today I found out through perinatalogist that my 14 wk LMP baby has some "fairly severe swelling" behind the neck. Also, he said there was some fluid starting to build in the abdomen. But the babies measurements, shapes and heartrate all look great! I am 35 and this is my first pregnancy. THe HCG readings had been very high at first, then dropped dramatically (I wrote in a couple weeks ago about this). Then I had some fluid with blood in it pass in the night, then some clear a week later. My questions are this: Is this child suffering at this time? | |
