The patient says, "If you don't mind, I'd like a second opinion." The doctor says, "OK, you've got a bad heart, too." What sounds like a joke from a Rodney Dangerfield routine actually is one of the findings published today from the ongoing Physicians' Health Study, conducted by researchers at Harvard Medical School. The study found that men with male pattern baldness may be at increased risk for heart disease. Published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, a journal of the American Medical Association, the study analyzed baldness and heart disease among 22,071 men ages 40 to 84.
