This follows the success of the first years competition won by Manchester. The league currently consists of 5 founder member clubs; Manchester, Everton, Norwich City, Chelsea and Southend United. The format of the league is based on 5-a-side matches consisting of two 8 minute periods with rolling substitutions allowed. Three points will be awarded for a win and one point for a draw. The season will be based around 6 one day events when all the teams will play each other. Any players currently unattached to one of the 6 founder clubs will be allowed to join any of them during the course of the season.
