Zebras’ Hardin Originally published on Friday, July 22 Jenny Hardin, who led Claremore to three straight high school basketball state championships, will now lead Oklahoma into a showdown with Texas on Saturday. Jim Keith, retired Hall of Fame coach who lives in Oologah, will serve as honorary coach for the Oklahoma team. The Oklahoma coaches are Brett Sanders of Anadarko and Dwight Winburn of Newkirk. Hardin, who will attend Oklahoma State University, is one of only two players from Northeast Oklahoma on the 12-player squad, the other being Earnesia Williams of Sapulpa. While helping build the Lady Zebras’ basketball dynasty, Hardin earned Most Valuable Player awards at the state tournament and on the Rogers County all-star team. She will return home next week to prepare for the Oklahoma All-State game, to be played Thursday in Tulsa.
