Virtual Gallery Gang Prevention/Intervention Through Targeted Outreach In response to the number of youth gangs growing in cities and expanding to suburban and rural communities, BGCA has developed a special gang prevention and intervention initiative targeting youth ages 6-18. Through referrals from schools, courts, law enforcement and community youth service agencies, the tested and proven Targeted Outreach program identifies and recruits delinquent youth, or those "at risk" of delinquency, into ongoing Club programs and activities. This initiative is sponsored by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, U.S. Department of Justice. Family Support Family support activities, programs and events are designed to benefit Club members by promoting family stability, cohesion and connection. Examples include family fun nights, parenting classes, referral services, job skills training programs and single-parent support groups. This program is funded by The Annie E. Casey Foundation.

Cadillac-LaSalle Club - Youth Program Home Learn about the CLC Join the CLC Renew Membership ... Site Feedback At their June 2004 meeting, the Board of Directors of our club authorized the formation of the CLC Youth Program. As of August 2005, we have 53 members and counting! This program is open to anyone ages 6 to 15 who is a child or grandchild of an active CLC member. Each member will receive a quarterly newsletter, a T-shirt, and a membership card for only $5 per year. At every Grand National, Youth Program members will be able to attend driving and mechanical seminars, take rides in some of the cars, and possibly serve on a special Youth Program judging team. Throughout the year, Youth Program members can win awards for a variety of activities, from expressing their artistic talents to completing driving training. The quarterly newsletter, The Running Board Review , will have an editorial column as well as technical articles. Columns will be dedicated to great figures and cars from Cadillac's past. There will be lots of pictures and page of puzzles and games. The editor of The Running Board Review is a licensed teacher, so all of the content will be age appropriate, educational, and most important, FUN!
