Program Administration

Program Management Planning Training Working with the Community Working with Volunteers Individual Support Volunteer Groups or Teams Program Meetings Content Evaluation Program Management Working With Volunteers Volunteers are the core of your project. It is through their time, expertise and effort that the goals of your project will be realized. One of the most important roles of the coordinator is to offer and organize support to volunteers. Yet this can also be one of the most intimidating parts of your job. Managing a group of your peers, particularly in subject areas in which you are not expert, can be a daunting task. Remember you are not expected to know it all. Most volunteers come to the project with enthusiasm and curiosity. They also come with varying degrees of experience, different motivations for getting involved, varied amounts of time they can give to the program and differing degrees to which the work relates to their academic, personal or professional goals. It is important for coordinators to identify the strengths and the needs of their volunteers. Many coordinators incorporate this process into the initial training for the semester (see Training). Clarifying strengths and needs can give you a sense of the expertise that you have in your program as well as areas that may require further training throughout the year.

Building Spiritual Highways to Reach the Whole World - Even Where There Are No Physical Roads CLICK HERE FOR NEWS
King's Highway Foundation was officially established in August of 2002 by Mike and Cindy King to spread  the precious Word of God throughout the world by leading short term missionary teams to the most rural and and out of the way places.  Through this ministry, churches are built and maintained, medical needs are tended to and lives are won for the Lord Jesus Christ
Though established in 2002, the roots of this ministry go back to 1992 when Mike went on his first crusade to the Republic of South Africa.  There he learned the true depth of his blessings and was lead by the Lord to recruit and lead others on short term missions.  Since 1992, Mike and Cindy of worked on and lead over 20 mission projects in places like Kenya, Egypt, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, the San Blass Islands as well as within the United States. What Can You Do To Help? Volunteer your time and come with us! We need construction workers to build and maintain the churches and other construction projects like sanitation facilities, schools, medical buildings  and housing.

Welcome to The USGenWeb Project! We are a group of volunteers working together to provide Internet websites for genealogical research in every county and every state of the United States. This Project is non-commercial and fully committed to free access for everyone. Organization is by county and state, and this website provides you with links to all the state websites which, in turn, provide gateways to the counties. The USGenWeb Project also sponsors important Special Projects at the national level and this website provides an entry point to all of those pages, as well.
Although the basic unit of organization for The USGenWebProject is at the county level, State Websites include very important information as well, including such resources for postings of unknown county queries, family reunion bulletin boards, state histories, and maps showing the changing county boundaries, among others. Many states also have ongoing projects as diverse as the transcription of Civil War regiments or the reuniting of families with lost photos, bibles, etc.

Meet
Chewie
Chewie is one of the best dogs I have ever met. He is so well behaved and such a little love.
He got adopted but then started to urinate in the house. It didn't seem right; I knew Chewie would never go in the house unless something was wrong with his health. Sure enough, he had bladder stones. After a month on medication and special food the stones were the still the same and he needed surgery. At that point, his adoptive home decided not to take him back.
He was doing well, then out of nowhere at the end of March he started losing weight. One day he began urinating excessively. Then he started drinking like he couldn't relieve his thirst. Then he couldn't stand up. All this happened in the space of about 8 hours.
We rushed him to the emergency vet and he was diagnosed with diabetes. He quickly got much worse and they didn't hold out much hope for him. He developed an infection and his blood sugar was over 700.
We wouldn't give up on him though, and 10 days later he walked out of the hospital on his own and has been doing great ever since.

Who We Are
Animal Heartline Humane Association is a not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We save homeless animals by finding shelter for them, giving them medical attention and then finding them a new permanent home if we cannot locate their owners. We do not euthanize animals when we cannot find them a home. Since we do not have a shelter facility, much of our money is used for boarding expenses. Our money comes from donations from the public.

For most of her working life, the VIC 56 was used in Rosyth naval base as an ammunition vessel. She was due to be disposed in September 1978, but was bought for preservation by J. H.
