When 45 Marin County, California women were photographed on November 12, 2002, forming the word PEACE with their naked bodies, it struck a deep chord around the world. Our exposure of the vulnerable human flesh we all share has created a powerful statement against the naked aggression of our country’s policies. More than 170 nude and clothed pro-peace actions have since taken place across the U.S. and around the world. Baring Witness-style actions are popping up all over the world in several related causes, such as protests against GMO crops, the WTO and the FTAA. See the Photo Album Baring Witness has become a global political tool that simply spells a word or words with nude or clothed human bodies, which attracts uniquely supportive media coverage. Access to the media is critical in educating, informing, increasing awareness, and gaining support.

The GWG was founded late in 1998 as an organization to band women gamers together in the world of online gaming. My name is Sheila, founder and president and known as LaFemNikita in Splatterball on AOL. I decided to form the guild after one night when I had to put up with an exceptionally long night of badgering by my young male counterparts. The guild is here as a meeting place and support site for women gamers all over the net. Please sign the guestbook to become a member.

The purpose of MOBI (Mothers Overcoming Breastfeeding Issues) is to give women a place to discuss their emotions over not being able to breastfeed successfully. Many women are unable to breastfeed because of milk supply problems, long or short term separation after the birth of their child, previous breast surgery or lack of support and are overwhelmed with feelings of disappointment, anger, sadness, inadequacy and many others. Some women suffer depression because of these issues. This list is not to discuss the pros and cons of breast over bottle. There are many other resources for that information. We are here to provide a safe atmosphere to share feelings and to connect with other women going through the same process. The FACTS About Breastfeeding Your Cleft Affected Baby
