We have designed this website to provide water monitors and students with a place to store their water monitoring data, track their water monitoring projects ( My Page ) and to provide you educational resources you need to successfully implement a school-based water monitoring program. The website is designed to give you a place to store your water monitoring data, allow others to see what you have found and compare your work to the work of others in your area. Hidden road reappears as reservoir dries up A road, hidden underwater for more than 50 years, has reappeared from the murky depths of Weir Wood reservoir in the drought-hit south. Despite recent rain, water levels in the reservoir are at their lowest ever. For the first time since it was created 52 years ago, the reservoir, now just a third full, has revealed one of its hidden secrets – a road, which used to run across the middle of Weir Wood. Southern Water staff are pictured rescuing a beached kayak from the dried bed of Weir Wood reservoir. Restrictions in place in Sussex and Kent A hosepipe and sprinkler ban continues to be in effect across Southern Water's Sussex and Kent supply areas.

Preventing Pollution
The Airport Authority has an overall objective of no spills and compliance with all water quality guidelines and criteria. This includes an aircraft de-icing facility where all de-icing fluid in captured and removed for treatment.
Tabletop Exercise Program
The Airport Authority uses tabletop exercises to practice roles and responsibilities in emergency situations - before they occur.
Monitoring
To ensure our pollution prevention methods are working, extensive monitoring is conducted regularly. The airport's water quality sampling program involves regular tests to ensure airport operations are not compromising water quality.
