NETVIDS College of Education and 13 Virginia public-school teachers. First designed to enhance education among student teachers, the development process was supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, a program to address the need for technology-savvy teachers of students in the 21st century. The activities NETVIDS demonstrates are in the areas of science, math, English, history and social studies, and computer/technology skills set by Virginia Standards of Learning and the National Educational Technology Standards for students and for teachers.
