The news of the appointment first appeared in a Thursday article in the Caledonian Record. Robbins has a long history of working toward better educational opportunities in Vermont. He is on the Danville School Board, and is a member of the education committee of the Vermont Business Roundtable. He's also a former chairman of the Vermont School Boards Association, and serves on the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital Board.
