home news courses benefits ... Tuesday, September 13. 2005 The temps are dropping, whcih means it's finally my favorite time to ride. Fall rocks! It's cooler, more colorfull, less crowded roads, all good. The only down side is less daylight. Sadly, the shorter days means we are no longer offering our weekday evening schedule . Hopefully we will start those back up in April.
We will continue to offer Wed-Sat-Sun and Sat-Sat schedules for our Basic course, in Salt Lake and Ogden, through the end of October or untill the snow flies. The Basic Rider Course cost is still $150.00.
Check out our FAQ section for answers to most of the questions folks have about our courses. Thanks for checking us out, and I hope we can be of service.

welcome
Since 1985, we have provided the highest quality MSF certified motorcycle rider education and training in Utah. We offer the Basic Rider Course where we supply the motorcycles, and the Experienced Rider Course where you ride your own bike. We also have a 3 hour, on-cycle introduction course if this is your first time on a bike designed to help you get over those first-time-riding jitters.

13. General Education Links - Utah Education Network

Teachers, try this. It has links, lesson plans, thematic units, teaching tips, and articles about education. It has a chat board for teachers who want to talk shop. They even have an email newsletter. Points off for too many banner ads and links to the teacher store, but everything else is well done. The site is bright looking and abundant. My favorite part of the site is the themes, which plumb a variety of web sites for high quality lesson plans that usually feature multidisciplinary topics. Top Five Education Sites Fine Arts Sites Foreign Language Sites Health Education Sites ... BBC Schools Online
The major educational hub of Great Britain, this site bursts with content. Try the age-appropriate resources or the "Web Guide" for a manageable start or the "A-Z Index" for the full story. A few bits and pieces are lost in the transatlantic translation (skip "revisions" unless you'll be taking a British standardized test soon), but most of it sails smoothly across. There is also Internet help and links to other BBC guides designed for an older audience. Reference Tool Collections Sites Science Sites Social Studies Sites K-6 Sites ... BJ Pinchbeck's Homework Helper
The Discovery Channel has good taste in the sites it buys: first Kathy Schrock, then this. B.J. Pinchbeck is only thirteen years old, but a four-year veteran of indexing educational web sites. With the move to the Discovery Channel, this site was tightened up considerably. It now has fewer links, but all are carefully chosen and maintained. The annotations aren't brilliant, but since a kid writes them, they may be on an appropriate reading level for younger surfers looking for classroom help.

The Golden Rule Project of the Manners/Golden Rule Foundation was begun in November 2003. The initial aim of the project was to place the Golden Rule in middle schools and high schools in the local community in a manner that would attract the attention of the students and encourage consideration of the Golden Rule. As a result, a Golden Rule document was created as a work of art. It consists of sixteen golden rule formulations taken from different cultures, philosophies and teachings placed on a two-page, framed diptych. Each page measures 21" x 13" (Golden Mean proportions) and was hand-printed on letterpress by Marnie Powers-Torrey and Jennifer Sorensen of the University of Utah Book Arts Program on hand-marbled Rives BFK paper. In addition, various local artists in the community contributed their time and talents to illuminate these diptychs to create unique works of art for each recipient school.
