The Concordia Youth Theatre is a society founded in 1974 . The aim of the Youth Theatre is to encourage younger members to take an active role in the performing side of theatre. Which allows them to develop their skills and eventually perform with an adult society, such as The Tinhatters, The AOS, The New Theatre Players and The Guild. We also try to encourage our members to participate in other areas of theatre including working back-stage, lighting, sound and production design. The Youth Theatre produce 1 show each year which normally runs for 4 nights in June. However due to an increase in demand for tickets over the past 3 years, an extra night has been added to the run of the show.
