What is ENP?

For more than 30 years, the Expanded Nutrition Program (ENP), part of the federally-funded Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) , has helped Texas youth and families with young children develop healthy eating and lifestyle practices. This Texas Agricultural Extension Service (TAEX) program (in cooperation with Family and Consumer Sciences ) delivers research-based information and education in the home, classroom, and community group settings to help Texans, with limited resources, make better nutrition and health decisions. The results are strong, nurturing families; healthy children; positive youth development; and savings in food and healthcare costs. What are the objectives of ENP?
