Eisenhower Middle School PTO The Parent-Teacher Organization of Wyckoff is composed of five individual PTO's representing each of the district's five schools. Each PTO is comprised of parents and teachers who work closely together to provide educational and social enrichment and to promote understanding and cooperation among the home, school and community. PTO members give countless hours to the schools. Some of this time is spent in the schools in activities such as assisting in the media center, being a class parent, conducting Great Books discussions, or serving special lunches. Members of the PTO's also arrange fundraisers such as Food For Thought, Gift Wrap Sales, Plant Sales, Holiday Stores, and Roller Skating Parties. Participation in events such as these can be both enjoyable and rewarding to parent and child. As a result of these activities, the PTO's were able to donate to the schools well over $150,000 in gifts. Included among these gifts were: cultural assemblies, video and computer equipment, funding for field trips and playground equipment.
