Description: Uppsala is Sweden's oldest university town and a wonderful city, combined with the student atmosphere and facilities, it makes for the ideal program to learn Swedish. Each year, over 200 international students from different backgrounds, different language levels, meet from around the world to participate in our summer program. In addition to learning about the Swedish language, culture and society, students also enjoy living in Uppsala and participating in Swedish student life. Each week, a number of events are organized by and instructional and weekend recreational trips are a large part of our program. Our summer school, which has over 40 years of experience, teaching Swedish to foreign students, is Sweden's oldest academic summer program. Our teachers are all specially trained to teach Swedish as a foreign language and many of our staff has been lecturers of Swedish at universities abroad and many are lecturers at a Swedish University. The program is located in a modern facility in the center of Uppsala and the University. | |
