24. Conference
Australia. Annual international conference focused on technically woven and nonwoven textile developments for the production of energy and sustainability of the environment. Melbourne. November 23, 2004.
http://www.ttna.com.au/htm/conference.htm
The theme for the 2005 TTNA Annual Conference is: Fibre Vision: Future Trends in Fibre Development and End Use Applications Tuesday 15th November 2005
Aitken Hill Conference Centre, Yuroke, Victoria, Australia
(10 minutes from Melbourne Airport) Profile Fibre is a fundamental input for textile industries. Cost, quality and availability of fibres are a major influence on the prosperity and competitiveness of all enterprises throughout the collective textile supply chain. Global trade, pricing and market conditions, along with research, development and innovation, shape the industry. Naturally, both the current and future conditions of the world-wide and regional man-made and natural fibre industries are of paramount importance to technical, apparel and nonwoven textiles producers. Emerging themes include sustainability, social accountability and biodegradability. To this end, this conference will feature papers with a focus on future trends in natural and man-made fibres, fibre development and end-use applications. It will provide participants with a more informed perspective on the global fibre industry. Please mouse click here to download our brochure in PDF format for full details of the conference.

    The Mission of EcoSystems ...
... is to develop, promote and market methodologies, technologies, and products that conserve natural resources and advance our planet towards sustainability through the use of solar energy.
We specialize in technology development: We employ the principles of Ecological Economics : Our planet is experiencing a crisis of unprecedented proportions: with increasing demands for resources of dwindling quality and increasing costs of extraction, we are consuming our "seed corn" and our wastes are piling up beyond our planet's capacity to absorb them. This is not sustainable in the long term. There are debates about how much time we have, but it is clear that humanity is challenging the limits of the natural order as never before. Virtually by definition, one of the solutions to achieving sustainability is the transition from an economy based on oil to one based on solar energy. Employing this solution, our programs and projects are based on two primary principles:

The company's creator Mr Stephen Zorbas then deemed it necessary to create an organisation to justifiably promote awareness in Australia, for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Mr Zorbas formed the National Hydrogen Association of Australia Pty Ltd in year 2001.This involved legal structures , web domains, programming etc......,and the payment of all related costs.Mr Zorbas then created a newsletter Hydrogen (H ) News ( ISSN ).The newsletter was issued across Australia from year 2001 every three(3) months, and generated significant awareness by virtue of the fact that most politicians within Australia received it. A letter of commendation was issued to Mr Zorbas in year 2003 by senior political leaders for his newsletter awareness program. Mr Zorbas continued by forming Fuel Cell Institute of Australia Pty Limited in year 2003 ,and thus created the first dedicated organisation in Australia for public and private fuel cell awareness generation( See Fuel Cell Institute of Australia Australian Hydrogen Activity Moonshot 2010 Support Million Solar Roofs The Hydrogen Expedition ... 05 September 23 Habitat for Humanity is one of those organizations that doesn't make a lot of noise, but does a lot of good. Focusing on the construction of homes for the poor, Habitat for Humanity uses volunteer labor and (usually) simple designs. The homes built by Habitat are decent but utilitarian, tending to be typical wood-frame structures, meeting but rarely exceeding code guidelines. They're hardly places in which one would expect to find abundant green design. And yet we now have at least one. A...
