    Sexual relationships

If you are traveling to this country, you may be interested in sexual relationships with locals, and no, I do not mean the services of prostitutes or other commercial providers. While you can meet citizen interested in sex accidentally, the chances of success are not particularly high if you are there only for a limited period of time (as I said: no prostitutes). On the other hand, they often are sexually attracted to foreign people. For young women, especially in the big cities, it is chic to have a Western boyfriend. So, there must be a trick to overcome the time-consuming "accidental", and to link more effectively the sexual interests of foreign visitors with those of locals. Try the Internet. Or, more to the point: try www.AdultfriendsFinder.com . The service lists a good number of residents explicitly interested in non-commercial sexual relationships. While there are more males on the search than females, there are indeed an amazing number of women using the service. It is truly amazing how popular www.AdultfriendsFinder.com

A languorous tropical isle of deep spirituality and serenity, Sri Lanka entered the Western imagination as the Tahiti of the East. Despite its smallness, it has garnered a plethora of names-Serendib, Ceylon, Teardrop of India, Resplendent Isle, Island of Dharma, and Pearl of the Orient-an accumulation that reveals its richness and beauty, and the intensity of affection that it has evoked in visitors. Physical Map of Sri Lanka With a length of 445 km and breadth of 225 km, Sri Lanka encompasses beautiful tropical beaches, verdant vegetation, ancient monuments and a thousand delights to please all tastes. The relief features of the island consist of a mountainous mass somewhat south of the center with heights exceeding 2,500 m surrounded by broad plains. Palm-fringed beaches surround the island.

James Hattori Correspondent NBC News GALLE, Sri Lanka - Geography, logistics and the sheer immensity of the Asian tsunami disaster continue to confound the world's largest relief effort. On the Indonesian island of Sumatra, where officials believe the death toll will reach 100,000, a round-the-clock airlift operation is under way at the airport in Banda Aceh, the regional capital.
Relief flights from the United States, Australia, Singapore and Great Britain are bringing countless tons of water, food and medical supplies. Twelve U.S. Sea Hawk helicopters are making drops to the more isolated villagers, who are in serious need. In some places, the helicopters can't land because local residents, faces pained with desperation, crowd around as the choppers hover, stretching their hands towards flight crews who toss out relief packages. One pilot described the landscape as worst than any war scene he's witnessed. Up to 1.8 million in need of relief efforts

There is a very close relationship between geography and nationalist politics: nationalist politics is intrinsically geographical. Yet geography of nationalism has not yet received adequate attention. Since 1970s increasing number of geographers have been researching into nationalist politics in many parts of the world. In Sri Lanka, the trend started in the 1980s. The course is divided into three sections

The weather is tropical - bright and hot for most part. Rains come in two main monsoons that originate in the Indian Ocean. The country has specific climatic zones determined by ranges of high mountains that run in north-south direction in the center of the island. The larger geographical area, fed by the north-east monsoon stays hot and dry for long months of the year, while the west and parts of the south of Sri Lanka has a primarily wet and humid climate.
From sea level to 7000-foot high national parks, the country boasts of myriad geographical and climatic zones. From the coconut palm fringed beaches of the west coast to lush rainforests of Ratnapura (2 hours from Colombo) to the stunning mountain scenery of Haputale (5 hours from Colombo) to the arid, scrub jungles of Yala (7 hours from Colombo) - a traveller in the country will never bore of the constantly changing patterns of the countryside. It is easy to imagine, when travelling across Sri Lanka, why Marco Polo called it the finest island of its size in the world. The country is six hours ahead of GMT.
