Spanish School on the Beach Home General Info Spanish Language Program Beach Accomodations ... FAQS Our Spanish school offers refreshing Spanish immersion language classes in a relaxing beach atmosphere. Ecuador is famous for it's language schools, but Canoa offers a truly unique tutorial experience. One-on-one tutoring is available according to your own personal schedule, as you enjoy an unforgettable beach and cultural holiday.
Spanish One-on-One
Spanish language instruction is available on a one-on-one student/instructor ratio. Based on your current knowledge level of Spanish, we provide custom tutoring that best fulfills your needs during the time you entend on staying. We provide intensive tutoring for beginner to advanced levels. Group instruction of two or three students is also possible, providing quality learning at reduced costs. If you have a partner or friend on an equal level of comprehension as you, the two of you can privately share a tutor at the cost of our group lessons.
School and Pleasure
During your studies, you will stay at a small but modern Ecuadorian family-operated Inn on the beautiful pacific coast beach retreat of Canoa. Your immersion studies begin in a classroom, but don't end there. Class hours are flexible. Take your tutor and books and hold class over a cocktail in a comfortable beach hammock if you prefer. You can visit local museums or archeological sites, or join any one of numerous ecotours available in the area. Try out surfing, horseback riding, or just lie on the beach. Welcome to the Spanish Language Exercises web page, hosted by Ursinus College . This site presents a series of language exercises for the purpose of facilitating the learning and teaching of Spanish in the Internet environment. These exercises were born out of the need to incorporate new materials into my teaching practices and because of my curiosity about the emergence and popularity of new technologies. Rather than presenting here a comprehensive display of grammar exercises, I offer examples of different approaches to common language challenges for the foreign student of Spanish. My intention is, thus, to share ideas with instructors and students alike, leaving to the former the pedagogical decisions of how to better utilize these exercises, and hoping that the latter will really benefit from this hypertextual experience. I welcome everyone's ideas, questions and comments about any aspect of this site.
