Vozza, Men's Golf Earn Wolverine Intercollegiate Titles
Boosted by three of the top seven individual finishers, including medalist Christian Vozza (left), the Michigan men's golf team won the Wolverine Intercollegiate by 11 shots, posting a closing 287 Sunday, Sept. 25, at the U-M Golf Course. Michigan finished 13 under par with rounds of 277, 275 and 287 on the par-71 course. Vozza shot 67-69-69 for an eight-under total of 205, good for a one-shot victory. Tim Schaetzel (tie-4th) and Brian Ottenweller (tie-6th) also placed in the top 10, helping U-M to its first tournament title since 2000-01.
