    In 2006 the School of Culture, Literature and Society is offering 2 Masters thesis scholarships, each called "School of Culture, Literature & Society Postgraduate Scholarship in Animal Studies".
    Congratulations Dr. Bianca Nielsen! Bianca recently graduated with her Ph.D. in American Studies. Dr. Ken Harris supervised her doctoral dissertation, titled, "Werewolves, Mothers and Femmes Fatales: Girl Power Movies." The thesis analyses the feminist potential of recently produced "girl power" films and the impact that these films have had on popular interpretations of feminism. Bianca is currently teaching at a secondary school in the Milton area. Congratulations again Bianca!

    The Department of Sociology at Princeton University has an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research. Its approximately 20 full-time faculty have interests that span the sociology of culture, economic sociology and organizations, migration and development, social demography, social inequality, regional and comparative studies, urban ethnography, and advanced statistics. There are about 40 graduate students in residence and 80 undergraduate majors.
