I do not endorse any of the above advertisements. Sewing is one of my favorite hobbies. I love to pass on the joy of sewing to others. That is why I have created this web site to be a "sewing tips exchange" where you can come and take a sewing tip or leave a sewing tip. I update weekly with a new "Tip of the Week". To e-mail me a sewing tip, click on the e-mail link at the bottom of the page. Thanks to all who have sent in sewing tips. This site would not be possible without you. Keep those tips coming, and Happy Sewing Teach a child to sew it's a gift that keeps on giving! Remember - if your day is hemmed in prayer, it is much less likely to become unravelled!
Tip of the Week: From Marilyn:
I make stuffed-creature Christmas tree ornamentsgingerbread boys, stars, candy canes, etc. Instead of using purchased fiberfill, I stuff with dryer lint! It's free and practical. Every time I empty the lint filter after drying a load of light-colored clothes, I save the lint in an empty facial tissue box, so I always have plenty on hand when I make these ornaments as gifts. Since the ornaments will never be washed, there's no worry about the recycled lint coming out in someone else's laundry.
