Various rivers flow through Slovakia, including the V¡h, Hron, Bodrog, Poprad, Horn¡d and Ondava. The Danube forms part of Slovakia's southern border with Hungary, and the Morava River serves as part of its border with the Czech Republic. The Slovak Republic has many natural springs, which are promoted to attract tourists. SlovakiaâÂÂs attraction is not only the high mountains, rolling hills and plains, but there are also caves, castle ruins, and beautiful National Parks. Climate Slovakia has primarily a humid continental climate, with warm summers and cold winters. The Carpathian Mountains endure harsher winters and receive heavier rainfall.
