Montgomery College Planetarium
The planetarium is open from the last week in August until the Friday before Memorial day in May. All evening planetarium programs include a star party after the show, if it is clear. Star party means we look at the sky with telescopes. We have a 10 inch (2540mm) Meade LX200-GPS-SMT, a 3 1/2 (88.9mm) inch Questar, and a 4 1/8 inch (105mm) Edmund Astroscan telescopes that we bring outside the planetarium when clear. Bring your telescope to the star party, and we can have even more fun sharing, the more the merrier.

In 1996, the Sharjah Science Museum opened to become the only interactive hands-on museum in the United Arab Emirates. As well as providing exhibits and programs for the general public, the museum is committed to improving the science and technology learning opportunities for children in Sharjah, and the other Emirates. Inquire-based workshops are provided to groups of children from the Sharjah Children's Centres, local and private schools from across the UAE, and teacher groups from the UAE Educational Zones, the museum hosts over 50,000 visitors every year. Inspiring the children of Sharjah, and the United Arab Emirates as a whole, to pursue science, technology or engineering as a career, is a key purpose of this museum.

    This is the joint home page of the three Museums of Natural History at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Science. These museums include Danish Royal collections from the 17th and 18th Century, but most material has been acquired during the 19th and the 20th Century. The museums are important reference collections and research centres as well as public museums with exhibitions.
    The public activities are listed below.
    • The Botanical Museum and Library has only temporary exhibitions.

      The Geological Museum
      has permanent public exhibitions, including: "Minerals", "Meteorites", "The Geology of Greenland" and "The Origin of Man". A temporary exhibition: "The Earth and the oldest History of Life" opened in October 1997. The exhibition on "The Geology of Denmark" is presently being renewed.
