The purpose of the network is to: Maintain a 'dossier' and learning materials which will compare crime prevention approaches in various European countries, and will give examples of good practice. Maintain an up-to-date contact list of practitioners, researchers and teachers who are keen to exchange information and learning about crime prevention. Endeavour to translate key pieces of information into other user languages. Meet either as a full network group or in smaller interest groups, as and when appropriate. Offer people programmes of training and education in crime prevention. As well as carrying information and lists of contacts, this site will also provide you with direct access to other sites located elsewhere on the Web, which may be of use to people involved in crime prevention and community safety work.
