IMPORTANT NOTICES: The Salvation Army Kroc Center is a 12-acre family support, education, recreation, and cultural arts facility . Made possible by a generous gift from philanthropist Mrs. Joan Kroc , the Center provides a variety of programs for individuals of all ages. The community center is available to members and the general public. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated. With financial donations, The Salvation Army can purchase the necessary items that the hurricane victims need at that time. It will also allow The Salvation Army to assess the unique needs of both individuals and families. The Salvation Army currently is not seeking in-kind donations from the general public because we lack sufficient storage space to accept the items throughout the region affected by Hurricane Katrina. However, large donations in bulk that can be transported from corporations and businesses are needed. Companies can
call 1-888-363-2769. Donations can be made: By calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY By going online to www.salvationarmyusa.org
