1. Russian Literature Online
Mayakovsky, Lermontov, Tsvetaeva, Dostoevsky, Pushkin. English and Russian.
http://www.namdar.dircon.co.uk/rlo.htm
I have no idea why Yahoo! will not update my description of this site, but as you can see, I have chosen to remove some of the authors / poets because of space restrictions. Please do not be dissapointed if you have missed Akhmatova, Chekhov and Mandel'stam et al, they have been gone for a long while. To make up for it, click on Mayakovsky at the top of this page and have a dose of futurism.

    Introduction
This guide is intended as an introduction to reference sources at Perkins Library for the study of Russian literature. The emphasis is on recent English language materials, and the list is by no means comprehensive. Students should use the materials in this guide as a starting point for more in-depth research; almost all works included here contain excellent bibliographies of valuable publications in Russian, English, and other languages. Duke student access to information is not limited to holdings here on campus; materials not held by Perkins are often available from other university libraries through Inter-Library Loan. The University of North Carolina, North Carolina Central University, and North Carolina State University catalogs are all directly accessible through the online catalog, and Duke students enjoy borrowing privileges at each of these libraries as well. In addition, information is increasingly available via the Internet and various document delivery services. Check with a reference librarian for suggestions on how best to access the materials you need. Part One of this guide lists research tools of use to students of all types of literature, including general dictionaries of literary terms, encyclopedias, and indices for book reviews and biographical information on authors.
