Interesting things to see in London :-
    The Museum of London
is huge, and claims to be the largest museum devoted to one city in the world. You can easily spend half a day there.
    The Thames Flood Barrier
in Docklands is the largest movable flood barrier in the world, and is impressive visually as well from from an engineering point of view.
One end of the Thames Path is at the Thames Flood Barrier; the other end is at the source of the river, far to the west of London.
    Battersea Park
, with Japanese Peace Pagoda and children's zoo.
    Southwark Cathedral
, which sits just south of the Thames, facing St Paul's and the City. Southwark Cathedral is much nicer and more peaceful, in my opinion. On London Bridge, it's possible to see both cathedrals in the same skyline. Is there anywhere else in the world where this is possible? Tell me.
The largest Hindu temple outside India
    , in Neasden.

by Montfort Chamney, with a picture of the biggest tea bush in the world.
'... Knowledge in remote times regarding some of the properties of the tea plant is indicated by a few early Chinese Chroniclers, and the introduction of its leaf into Europe and first use there of the infused beverage have attracted the notice of some modern writers of repute. In the light of these facts it may seem almost an impertinence for a retired old Civil Servant, blind and unknown, to take up such a subject anew. Nevertheless the writer, who more than once and for long periods has been brought into close contact with different aspects of the great tea industry, here ventures to outline from accumulated notes, and through the medium of a Braille writing machine, a brief summary of the strange and not uneventful history of tea ... Alaska
You could drive the 358 miles from Anchorage to Fairbanks in the better part of a day. You could also fly the route in less than an hour, but you'd miss some of the planet's most entrancing real estate. Because of its vast size-586,412 square miles, one-fifth the size of the entire "Lower 48"-one is not going to "see Alaska" in one trip. But picking a route and an itinerary that maximizes a visitor's "northern exposure" is possible. There are many ways to start off an Alaskan tour, but why not begin in the capital of Anchorage. If you take the Glenn Highway (AR1) approximately 30 miles to Eklutna, you can visit the Eklutna Village Historical Park. The park preserves 350 years of the heritage and traditions of the Athabascan Alaska natives as well as the state's Russian influence. Attractions include the historic St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, a hand-built Siberian prayer chapel and brightly colored "spirit houses" in the village cemetery. Tours of the village take only 30 minutes.

Web Design Architecture It is said that civilization is what man leaves behind: cooking and hunting tools; drawings and writings on stone or animal skin or cloth; weapons; farming instruments. All these things provide a glimpse into the daily lives and customs of past civilizations. Some of the most noticeable and interesting things that man leaves behind are the buildings, homes, monuments, temples, and other structures that reflect the time in which they were built and in which they served their usefulness. Architecture is the art of building in which human requirements and construction materials are combined to provide practical use as well as an aesthetic solution. In other words, architects use their imagination to create pleasing, useful structures. Sample some of the following activities to learn more about architecture.
