A visit to Van Hise Rock is also a must. Those were among my very first field trip localities when i was a geology major at UW Madison. You mention a quarry in Oshkosh (limestone?) that hosts pyrite-marcasite-galena-sphalerite. The assemblage sounds like MVT. Do the MVT deposits extend that far north into Wisconsin?
