Verizon, which bought GTE, is a flakey, poor, unreliable web host provider. Somtimes when attempting to access a page on my Verizon website it returns HTTP code 423 Locked . Many people have complained. Verizon refuses to acknowledge there's a problem. Their customer service reps don't know diddly about computers. (See Site Map for more on Verizon and their problems.) For this reason I am migrating to a different server. Solar Mythology and the Bible
INDEX
Introduction
In ancient times people were very familiar with the Sun and the stars. At night they had nothing better to do than gaze up at the stars. They saw how the stars move across the sky during the night, and how different constellations are visible at different times of the year. They made up stories which were allegories based on what they saw. Later on, these stories took on a life of their own, as the stories were passed down from generation to generation but the knowledge of what the stories represented was lost. People started believing the stories were real and actual history of events that actually really happened in the past, when originally the stories were nothing more than allegories for what people saw happening in the stars.

Hinduism Hinduism is a way of living according to the one's understanding of principles of Vedas and Upanishads. Veda is revealed knowledge. Just as the knowledge of gravity was revealed to Newton, similarly, in India, many Rishis or Seers were awakened to certain transcendental Eternal Truths. These Rishis realized that their real nature was not concerned with or linked with 'body or mind', nor was it dependent on sense perceptions, but was in fact identical with the Universal Consciousness.
