Friends all over the world
Are you not irritated by the news reporting on religious confrontations in Northern Ireland, by the Israel/Palestine `holy land' confrontations, fundamentalist killings, past and future holocausts, human rights violations, e.g. Indians beaten into Christianization equalled with civilization (as still in use for Canadian Indians, see internet report Karen Cunningham/Canada forum Education), ABC warfare proliferation among irresponsible politicians and religious leadership - all consequences of immature dogmatic ideas about religion. Religion means helping the people develop their religiousness along universal moral standards of ethics built on own moral conscience, not on the long-past authoritarian moral of God, a group, or state. If it is built on your own God-gift conscience, there will be no way anymore for people obeying to kill when ordered so by a so-called fake higher authority. This avoids the self-extinction of mankind Keywords: term of `cosmosofy' for a cross-bordered universal religion and ethics can be freely used and is not registered. General Information Guide for Families of Offenders
Religion The religious needs of offenders at each facility are addressed by at least one full-time staff chaplain. The chaplains are trained clergy who provide ministerial care to the entire criminal justice community. They encourage offenders to stay in touch with their particular faith by offering pastoral counsel and guidance. Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, Christian Non-Roman Catholic, and Native American faiths are represented. Other religions may be served by faith group volunteers. News about religious programs is posted on facility bulletin boards. Offenders who are unable to attend scheduled religious services, because of illness or disciplinary reasons, are visited on a regular basis by unit chaplains and approved religious volunteers. Offenders should direct emergency inquiries concerning their families to the facility chaplain. Other inquiries should be addressed to the Warden.

THE SELFISHNESS OF CHRISTIANITY (7-26-99)
(The Phenomenon of "Auto-Self-hypnosis" Explained)
This is the very first article ever on this subject. We hope that knowing these things
will eventually help to change society for the better.
In this article, we will give examples and explain the mechanisms that make auto-
self-hypnosis work. Once this is studied by more persons and becomes known to
more and more people, it will have an effect upon society in many areas. It will
change our concept of "Psychology", of our views on the "Justice System" and
the "Death Penalty" as well as our understanding of many other things that have
a great impact upon our everyday lives. It will shed new light upon things that we have not understood about religion and Christianity before this was known. We will have to explain such things as "egocentricity", "hyper-sensitivity to

Some Reasons Why Humanists
Reject The Bible
by Joseph C. Sommer Introduction This article sets forth some reasons why Humanists assert that the Bible is not the word of God. Humanists are convinced that the Bible was written solely by human beings who lived in an age that was ignorant, superstitious, and cruel. Humanists also believe that, because the writers of the Bible were people who lived in an unenlightened and barbaric era, they produced a book which contains many erroneous statements and harmful teachings. A lot of criticism is directed at Humanists because they hold those positions about the Bible. Some critics of the Humanist philosophy go so far as to say that Humanists are evil or are agents of the devil. Hopefully, this article will provide some clarification as to the real reasons that Humanists have the views that they do about the Bible. Importance of the Subject The importance of this subject results from the fact that in the United States the Bible is pervasively hailed as a divinely inspired book. Today, the television and radio media often feature programs that praise the Bible as being the holy and infallible word of God. Religious organizations that produce those programs distribute vast quantities of books, magazines, pamphlets, and other literature. The programs and literature promote the viewpoint that, as televangelist Pat Robertson has said: "The Bible...is a workable guidebook for politics, business, families and all the affairs of mankind."
