Welcome
Welcome to M Baker Recycling Ltd. We can assist you with:
Televisions and PC monitor recycling (CRTs)
Large and small household appliance recycling
And all other Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) We can accept and treat all types of E-Waste listed under the ten categories of the WEEE Directive and recycle the equipment to the best standards, recovering the metals (ferrous, aluminium and precious), plastics, copper and glass and other fractions. It is estimated that in the UK, householders and businesses dispose of almost one million tonnes of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) each year and this figure is estimated to be growing by tens of thousands of tonnes annually. Currently ( apart from WEEE that has a high metal content ), the level of recycling and treatment of other WEEE is not very high, so the introduction of the WEEE Directive should be seen is a positive move for the environment, thus reducing waste disposal and the need for landfill. Waste not, want not. Why throw away wastewater? Why call it wastewater at all, when it is loaded with valuable nutrients that need only be reclaimed and redistributed? Waste Not,
    Want Not: Reuse
Designed Ecosystems Government Regulations ... Water Recycling in N.C. Waste not, want not. Why throw away wastewater? Why call it wastewater at all, when it is loaded with valuable nutrients that need only be reclaimed and redistributed? We can extract the phosphorus and nitrogen to be used as fertilizer, and purify the "wastewater" until it is sparkling clean and ready for reuse. Nature reuses and recycles its resources without creating toxic dumps or polluted waterways. By imitating nature we can learn to recycle our wastewater relatively inexpensively, with minimal distribution costs, and the bonus of reclaimed resources ready to feed our fields or fish, or flush our toilets and water our lawns. In many parts of the world, water is scarce and often polluted. In many countries, population density and the location and size of reservoirs create water distribution problems. Inadequate wastewater facilities, even in the richest countries, pour excess untreated sewage into rivers, lakes and oceans. Conventional solutions to wastewater treatment are not only expensive, but are designed to throw water away and hence, do not address issues of water scarcity and distribution, or limited financial resources.
