Cisse, who scored in Liverpool's 3-1 Champions League win, was subjected to monkey noises from a section of fans. Reds boss Rafael Benitez said after the match that Uefa's official delegate Trygve Borno had heard the abuse. "Uefa is aware incidents of a racist nature have taken place," a Uefa statement said. The case was opened after Uefa received the official delegate's report from the CSKA Sofia match. Uefa's control and disciplinary body will consider the case at its next scheduled meeting on 18 August. Benitez encouraged by win "Always it is a pity to hear such things but the Uefa official has heard and it has gone in his report," said Benitez.

A Jewish appraisal of the racism involved in the concept of the Christian/messianic Jew .
    http://www.anti-racism.supanet.com/
What does the term "Jew" mean to you? Maybe you have never even given it serious thought. For many people over the last two centuries or so it has often meant a "person of the Jewish race". This idea has its origins in ignorance and so-called "scientific racism". Unfortunately, the erroneous notion that Jews constitute a "race" is still believed by a significant number of people.
The "Jewish race" myth underpins the "Christian" concept of the "Messianic (i.e. Christian) Jew". So in the same way that, say, a "black" person who converts to Christianity might be called a "Christian Black" a Jew who converts is called a "Christian or Messianic Jew". Does this matter? Should we not just wait for public opinion to catch up with biological science? Why make a fuss? Well there are good reasons not to just sit around and hope things will get better on their own.
The "Jewish race" myth has been a source of terrifying problems for everyone it has touched. This has not only included Jews but also non-Jews. During the Shoah ("Holocaust"), for example, a small but significant proportion of the "Jews" who were murdered were only "Jews" in a "racial" sense. By any non-racist standard (including Jewish standards) they were non-Jews. Neither is this just a matter of academic or historical interest. Where there is "race", racial discrimination will surely follow. This has certainly proved to be the case with the "Messianic Jew".

E-mail Print In Whose Honor? The mascot debate is actually the latest in a long series of battles over who controls American Indian culture. Since most of us never learned the history of white/Native relations in our country, the issue seems to have sprung out of nowhere. Until I wrote a book about sports mascots, I never knew the history of forced assimilation. But culture was as much a battleground as land. The U.S. government conducted a strenuous campaign to wipe out American Indian cultures, religions, and languages. American Indian children were forcibly taken from their families to boarding schools where they were physically punished if they spoke their tribal languages or tried to maintain their religious observances. In a country that prides itself on religious freedom, the First Americans had none until 1934. Before this, Native people faced sanctions even when trying to conduct ceremonies and dances on their own reservations. One of the few historical incidents many of us do know about, the tragic massacre at Wounded Knee, took place because American Indians were gathering to dance at a religious ceremony that the government was determined to suppress.

    Introduction
Environmental racism can be defined as the intentional siting of hazardous waste sites, landfills, incinerators, and polluting industries in communities inhabited mainly by African-American, Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians, migrant farm workers, and the working poor. Minorities are particularly vulnerable because they are perceived as weak and passive citizens who will not fight back against the poisoning of their neighborhoods in fear that it may jeopardize jobs and economic survival. The landmark study, Toxic Wastes and Race in the United States (Commission for Racial Justice, United Church of Christ 1987), described the extent of environmental racism and the consequences for those who are victims of polluted environments. The study revealed that: Race was the most significant variable associated with the location of hazardous waste sites. The greatest number of commercial hazardous facilities were located in communities with the highest composition of racial and ethnic minorities.

    http://web.inter.nl.net/users/Paul.Treanor/zionism.html
    Zionism = Racism
Zionism is a racist ideology, like all nationalisms. The specific racist characteristics are summarised here: labelling them racist should be uncontroversial in itself. However Israel and its supporters are allergic for the label, and that hinders rational assessment of nationalist ideology.
    Nationalism and racism
Nation states are components of a nationalist world order, and nationalism is the ideology or movement that promotes that world order. The specific characteristics of that world order are listed in the introduction to Nation Planet . The present world order is composed of permanent states. With one exception, the Vatican, they are formed by trans-generational communities - nations. Together these states hold all inhabitable territory, as contiguous national territories: a planet of nations. All nationalists hold certain core beliefs about this world order, about the nation itself and about the nation state. Some of these core beliefs are clearly racist. Others - such as the belief that nation states should be transgenerational - are not racist in themselves, but lead almost inevitably to racist policies by the states. All modern nation states are founded on certain racist principles

    U.S. envoy: Racism talks hijacked
DURBAN, South Africa (CNN) A member of the U.S. delegation, Congressman Tom Lantos, said the U.N. Conference Against Racism had been "hijacked" by those hostile to Israel. Every individual on earth has his completing causes; consequently an individual with perfect causes becomes perfect, and another with imperfect causes remains imperfect, as the negro who is able to receive nothing more than the human shape and speech in its least developed form. Judah Halevi Kuzari (I, 4-6) [ A History of Jewish Philosophy in the Middle Ages , Colette Sirat, Cambridge University Press, 1985, 1990, p.2] Their qualities of character, moreover, are close to those of dumb animals. It has ever been reported that most of the Negroes of the first [climatic] zone dwell in caves and thickets, eat herbs, live in savage isolation and do not congregate, and eat each other. The same applies to the Slavs. The reason for this is that their remoteness from being temperate produces in them a disposition and character similar to those of the dumb animals, and they become correspondingly remote from humanity. The Muqaddimah, An Introduction to History , Franz Rosenthal translation, abridged and edited by N.J. Dawood [Bollingen Series, Princeton University Press, 1967, p.59] Be it known to you, that the Traffic in Slaves is a matter on which all Sects and Nations have agreed from the time of the sons of Adam, on whom be the Peace of God, up to this day and we are not aware of its being prohibited by the Laws of any Sect, and no one need ask this question [i.e. whether the trade in slaves be lawful], the same being manifest to both high and low and requires no more demonstration than the light of day.

Convention of Teachers of Religion on the College Level,
Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, August 27, 1954. God has commanded Israel not to intermarry. To go against this commandment of God would be in sin. Those who willfully sin with their eyes open to this wrong will not be surprised to find that they will be separated from the presence of God in the world to come. This is spiritual death.... The reason that one would lose his blessings by marrying a Negro is due to the restriction placed upon them. "No person having the least particle of Negro blood can hold the Priesthood" (Brigham Young). It does not matter if they are one-sixth Negro or one-hundred and sixth, the curse of no Priesthood is the same. If an individual who is entitled to the Priesthood marries a Negro, the Lord has decreed that only spirits who are not eligible for the Priesthood will come to that marriage as children. To intermarry with a Negro is to forfeit a "Nation of Priesthood holders".... The discussion on civil rights, especially over the last 20 years, has drawn some very sharp lines. It has blinded the thinking of some of our own people, I believe. They have allowed their political affiliations to color their thinking to some extent, and then, of course, they have been persuaded by some of the arguments that have been put forth....We who teach in the Church certainly must have our feet on the ground and not to be led astray by the philosophies of men on this subject....

U.S. stance on U.N. racism conference debated
Rep. Tom Lantos WASHINGTON (CNN) The Bush administration's decision against sending U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell to a United Nations conference on racism in Durban, South Africa, has sparked both criticism and praise. Some lawmakers and civil rights leaders, including the Rev. Jesse Jackson, disagree with the move. Others say Powell should not attend because the gathering will include Arab-backed proposals accusing Israel of racism. CNN anchor Judy Woodruff moderated a discussion on Wednesday between U.S. Reps. Tom Lantos, D-California, and Sheila Jackson-Lee, D-Texas. WOODRUFF: Congressman Lantos, to you first. Is the administration right not to send Secretary Powell? MORE STORIES Powell skipping U.N. racism conference LANTOS: The administration certainly is right not to send Secretary Powell, and I personally want to congratulate Secretary Powell who desperately wanted to go to stand on principle. This is a conference initially designed to fight against discrimination. And it has become a conference to denounce and to ridicule the Democratic ally we have in the Middle East, the state of Israel. Both (U.S. National Security Adviser) Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell deserve praise for their principle stand.

You Can't Fight Terrorism With Racism
By Colbert I. King Saturday, July 30, 2005; Page A19 During my day job I work under the title of deputy editorial page editor. That entails paying more than passing attention to articles that appear on the op-ed page. Opinion writers, in my view, should have a wide range in which to roam, especially when it comes to edgy, thought-provoking pieces. Still, I wasn't quite ready for what appeared on the op-ed pages of Thursday's New York Times or Friday's Post. A New York Times op-ed piece by Paul Sperry, a Hoover Institution media fellow ["It's the Age of Terror: What Would You Do?"], and a Post column by Charles Krauthammer ["Give Grandma a Pass; Politically Correct Screening Won't Catch Jihadists"] endorsed the practice of using ethnicity, national origin and religion as primary factors in deciding whom police should regard as possible terrorists in other words, racial profiling. A second Times column, on Thursday, by Haim Watzman ["When You Have to Shoot First"] argued that the London police officer who chased down and put seven bullets into the head of a Brazilian electrician without asking him any questions or giving him any warning "did the right thing."
