Opening Convocation on September 27.
The annual Opening Convocation will be held Tuesday, September 27, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Royal Brougham Pavilion. This campuswide event for students, faculty, and staff is a time to commit the new year to God and pray for each other. President Philip Eaton will give an opening address and charge. All campus offices and departments will be closed during Convocation from 9:15-10:30 a.m.

“Job Fair 2005” will take place Wednesday, September 28, from 11 a.m.– 3 p.m. on the third floor of Gwinn Commons. More than 40 employers will be on hand to meet with students interested in part-time work during the academic year. On-campus departments, off-campus employers, and work-study employers will be represented. Refreshments will be provided. Graduate Schools at Fordham
Fordham University maintains six graduate schools, offering numerous individual master's and doctoral degree programs and broadly humanistic training for the professions of law, finance and industry, government and public service, ecclesiastical leadership and pastoral care, education, psychology, social work, and academic scholarship. Fordham's 7,000 graduate students attend one of six schools: the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Graduate School of Business, the Graduate School of Social Service, the School of Law, the Graduate School of Education and the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education. The Schools of Law, Business, Social Service and Education are located on the Lincoln Center campus, in close proximity to Manhattan's midtown business, media and performing arts districts, and serviced by Columbus Circle's bus and subway hub. Additional degree and extension programs in education, social service and business administration are offered at Fordham's Westchester campus in Tarrytown, New York. At the Rose Hill campus in the Northern Bronx, the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Religion and Religious Education hold the majority of their graduate classes on an 85-acre historic campus.
