Established by DRDA in partnership with unit administrators to support Research Administrators at UM, the Network is meant to provide continuing education in the area of research administration and provide opportunities for unit administrators to interact with each other and leaders in central administration. Typical agendas for quarterly meetings include updates on current events in research at UM and the presentation of an educational topic.     22.10.1 Policy
    The Faculty of Education will provide support for administrative staff to attend professional development activities related to their current positions or probable career path within the Faculty, within reasonable financial limits.
    22.10.2 Regulations
  • Each full-time member of the permanent administrative staff of the Faculty will be entitled to a maximum amount of $1000 each year to undertake professional development activities. This amount may be revised annually in the light of budgetary considerations. Permanent members of the administrative staff with fractional appointments will be eligible for maximum funding in direct proportion to their fractional appointments.
