What happens to a girl who has a child as a child? What happens to the father ? What happens to the child? Their world is torn apart; a part of them is taken away. A part that can never be replaced. This happened to us at a very tender age. For 25 years it was terrible. Left in the dark, not knowing anything. I wanted my baby so bad. Not being aloud to make my own decision, the child was whipped away from me.

S-2 "Canada's Newest Best Kept Secret" Good Day, eh! BORN IN CANADA BUT NOT CANADIAN! Lost Canadian Children are natural-born citizens by birthright, we have a right to it without earning or qualifying to be worthy of it! The only reason we lost our nationality and citizenship is because we were innocent children! CIC claims I lost nationality and citizenship AUTOMATICALLY as a child when a parent brought me to live outside Canada, yet my relatives, MP's Senators and House of Commons Members , even strangers on the street can't understand why I'm not a Canadian citizen, let alone not a dual citizen! We weren't a legal age to renounce or acquire another country's citizenship, nor given due process or a choice of allegiance at our age of majority as accorded by the Canadian Citizenship Act! The 1977 Citizenship Act made it impossible to loose nationality and citizenship. It's therefore unjustifiably unfair those of us who lost it automatically prior to then still have to deal with the inequities, injustices and consequences of archaic laws! If laws supposedly evolve to correct past injustices for others including children born abroad, Japanese immigrants, First Nations, even Senators and House of Commons Members born outside Canada, why hasn't it evolved for those of us born in Canada?

The goal of the group was to increase awareness of the rugged beauty and outstanding facilities available in Canada’s Atlantic Provinces. Resorts Atlantic has attended many national events targeting the meeting planner, and has successfully brought the knowledge of this region to a new customer base. The resorts will take over the marketing component on an individual basis, and continue to offer the same fantastic service as in the past.
Thanks to all who have supported Resorts Atlantic over the past eight years, and please keep Atlantic Canada in mind for your next meeting, event, or incentive.

~~*~ "Akage no Anne" - Schauplatz ~*~~
~~*~ Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.)

178. Wild Goose Lodge
Canada goose and duck hunting on prince edward island.
http://www.wildgooselodge.com
Hunter the Duck Toller
Canada Goose and Duck Hunting at Wild Goose Lodge Outfitters in Prince Edward Island, has drawn hunters from all over the United States and Europe for some of the best waterfowl hunting Canada has to offer. Fully inclusive hunts on private leases. Wild Goose Lodge hunting packages are designed to combine safety, comfort and enjoyment. Hunter’s will appreciate a choice of private hunting sites, with most of the gunning being over barley, corn and potato fields. You are never asked to hunt with other hunters and will always be the only group at a site. Most sites are within a 20-mile radius of Wild Goose Lodge and your guide will put forth every effort to provide the best hunting experience possible. Wild Goose Lodge sits just inland from the cliffs bordering the north shore of Prince Edward Island and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Wild Goose Lodge crowns a 6-acre hilltop site overlooking the tiny fishing village of French River, right in the heart of the best goose hunting territory on the Island. We hunt along the shores of the famous Malpeque Bay and inland approximately 15-miles. In addition to Canada geese, we also hunt various species of ducks, including black, mallard and teal. We are goose hunters first and foremost and that is what we charge for. We are pleased to provide extra value by doing some late day duck hunting along the shores of the Bay.

Micmacs
Souriquois of the early French) The easternmost of the Algonquin tribes and probably the first visited by a white man, formerly occupied what is now Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Cape Breton, as well as part of New Brunswick, Quebec, and south-western Newfoundland. According to their traditions, they held third rank in the original distribution of the land among the confederation of the eastern Algonquins . The first place belonged to the "father" of that nation, namely the Ottawa tribe, which received as its share the "land of origins"; the second, called the Wapanakiag, the "country of the dawn", fell to the lot of the Abenakis, while the third province, known as Migmagig, was allotted to the Micmacs. Until the arrival of the white man, an annual ceremony long recalled this compact. There is a probability that the Micmacs were visited by Sebastian Cabot (1497) and by Cortereal (1501). They welcomed the French and their religion, preached to them by secular priests and Jesuits The Micmacs originally dwelt in the ordinary conical wigwams common to most Algonquin Protestants formed a Micmac Missionary Society, which commenced work in the vicinity of Charlottetown. Rev. Silas Rand, a great linguist and prolific writer, was the principal agent. The Indians, almost without exception, have remained steadfast in their fidelity to the Church of their first missionaries. Another point in which the Micmacs may be said to be remarkable is the manner in which their population holds its own in spite of many difficulties, such as the bad example given by the whites, and the facility with which they can procure intoxicants. In 1891 they had increased to 4180; and later, a careful census taken by one of the Capuchins , living among them since 1894, showed that they numbered 3850 in Canada and 200 in Newfoundland. The Blue Book of the Canadian Government for 1909 sets down their numbers at 3961 within the Dominion alone, practically all of whom are Catholics. All the Indians of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (respectively 2073 and 274) are Micmacs.
