Retiree Robert O. Woods donated two models-a Strypi rocket (an egret illustration decorating its nose) and a Nike missile. We plan to use these models in a future exhibit. Woods retired in 1997 with over 30 years of service. During his career at Sandia, Woods designed instruments for upper air research, fielded air pollution experiments, designed optical and mechanical instrumentation for military satellites, designed X-Ray instrumentation for satellite astronomy, and designed robotic high-precision tooling for production. Amongst the historic collections, there is a museographic collection which groups together a large range of memorabilia which, when gathered together, can be used to evoke a theme, an era or a particular vessel. POSTERS From the end of the 19 th century up to the present day, the most well known illustrators have with incomparable talent portrayed the power of liners, master pieces of the industry and the charm of maritime journeys and far away destinations. French Lines has reunited a large collection of these posters which the Association is constantly building on. Thus, we can discover the whole world, fly over the continents and go back in time by visiting one of a number of exhibitions in which the Association participates.

176. Jewellers In Venice The Original Venetian Blackamoor Brooches Photo Collections
general INFORMATION. All our jewels are made by hand in our workshop in a limited quantity Gallery collections. info@webjewels.it. The City. The map
http://www.webjewels.it/collections.html
To see Venice click here
GENERAL INFORMATION All our jewels are made by hand in our workshop in a limited quantity and guaranteed by our hallmark VE106, therefore it may occur that not all of them are avilable. They all differ one from another, and this makes them absolutely charming. We also can create your personal jewel, the one you have always dreamt of, but you have never found.
The price of each item varies according to the gems, weight and realisation time; it might happen for instance, that a blackamoor brooch is produced with different gems from the model you see on this site, and this can change the price.
We do not make mass-production, each one of our jewels is the result of an original idea and design, and is therefore very different from an industrial product; this is for you the guarantee that you own a really unique object, an original Venetian hand-made jewel. You just have to tell us via e-mail the names of the jewels you choose, and we will send you availability and prices; if the object you choose is not immediately available, you can order it; the realisation time is about 30 days and the product has to be prepaid. All our jewels are signed and identified by a guarantee certificate. Cellular phone +39 0347 453 2737.

New Orleans Public Library sends greetings and its gratitude to all who have expressed concern for our institution in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It has been a difficult time for all of us associated with NOPL and for all of the citizens of New Orleans and the surrounding areas affected by the storm. And there are difficult times still to come for our great city. But we would like to assure all of our patrons, friends and supporters that we are already beginning to take steps to rebuild the NOPL system and to make it even better than it was before. This interim home page NUTRIAS and NOPL in recovery will provide information about our progress toward this goal. NOPL Rebuilds
Check here for forthcoming news about the progress we are making toward recovery and how you can contribute.
Donations to New Orleans Public Library
If you would like to donate funds to help NOPL rebuild, please visit the link above and follow the instructions found.
NUTRIAS (pre-Katrina)
Link here for NUTRIAS as it existed shortly before Hurricane Katrina. Please be aware that NOPL is not yet operational and will not be able to respond to reference requests or questions at this time. We are mounting the "old NUTRIAS" simply to remind everyone of who we are and what we will return to as we rebuild.

Note: This guide to the Beinecke Library collections is an online version of the Guide published in 1994. The printed version is available through the Administrative Services Department, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, P.O. Box 208240, New Haven, CT 06420-8240 for $6.50, prepaid by check in American dollars, Visa, or MasterCard. Acknowledgments: This second edition of the Beinecke Library Guide is a direct descendant of the first, published in 1974 shortly after the library's tenth anniversary. To Professor Louis L. Martz and to Kenneth N. Nesheim, director and associate director at that time, we owe the idea of a guide and its first successful realization. Many collection descriptions in the new edition are based on information compiled by the authors of the first Guide , and many of the collections we have described came to Yale because of the foresight and energy of the same individuals. The accomplishments, spirit, and even the words of our predecessors will be evident in these pages: Hermann W. Liebert, first head of the Beinecke Library; Marjorie G. Wynne, retired Edwin J. Beinecke Research Librarian; Donald C. Gallup, retired Elizabeth Wakeman Dwight Curator of the Yale Collection of American Literature; and Archibald Hanna, Jr. retired William Robertson Coe Curator of Western Americana. Our sincere thanks to these good and loyal friends.
