    GENEALOGY CONFERENCE
This event, the first statewide genealogical seminar held in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, will undoubtedly draw considerable numbers of family historians to Pittsburgh, since Pennsylvania is a genealogically significant state. For three centuries the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has been one of the most populous colonies or states, and many family historians can track their ancestry back to Pennsylvania. WPGS ARCHIVES COMMITTEE: Volunteers Still Needed More treasures from old documents and Allegheny County docket books are unearthed every week by our “Warehouse Group”. They search and catalog their findings, but they still need additional volunteers. If you’re interested in volunteering, or more information, you can call 412-531-3116 or email robertseeberger@cs.com
