Stevens Creek Park is located along Stevens Canyon Road and Mt. Eden Road in the foothills between Saratoga and Cupertino. To access the park from Cupertino, take Interstate Highway 280 to Foothill Expressway. Follow Foothill Blvd. west three miles to the northern park entrance (Foothill Blvd. changes into Stevens Canyon Road as it crosses McClellan Road). From Saratoga, travel north on Highway 9 to Pierce Road. Turn onto Pierce Road and travel 1.8 miles to Mt. Eden Road. Turn left onto Mt. Eden Road and travel 1.5 miles to the south park entrance.

Decatur, AL 35602 (256)341-4930 The Decatur Parks and Recreation Department is a department of the local municipal government operated by a permanent, full-time staff, with the assistance of a volunteer citizens advisory board. Board appointments are made by the City Council for a term of five years. The Parks and Recreation Department operates four recreation community centers, one outdoor and one indoor swimming pool, Wilson Morgan Softball Complex and Tennis Center, and 22 parks encompassing 500-acres. These include 12 developed playgrounds, 28 lighted tennis courts, an 11 acre laser graded, irrigated, and lighted soccer complex, and numerous lighted and unlighted softball and baseball fields. We are developing a 77 acre park which will include a 30 acre laser graded and irrigated soccer/football venue with sub-grade drainage. It will also include a 4 field Dixie Youth baseball complex, tennis courts, a walking trail, playground, and splash pad. This project should be completed in 2005-2006. There is also a recreation center in the master plan that doesn't have a current construction date. The Decatur City Cemetery is also operated and maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department.

Latest News Carpenter Park Closed for Weekend
The Carpenter Park Recreation Center will be closed Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25. Courses are expected to resume on Monday pending the results of hurricane Rita in our area. Any group or organization wishing to use a baseball, softball, soccer or other playing field for games or practice; tennis courts or other park facility under the jurisdiction of the Swampscott Recreation Commission must apply for a permit or reservation at the Recreation Office.
Parking stickers issued by the Town of Swampscott to residents for use of beach parking lots are obtained at the Recreation Office. Resident I.D. and your car registration form are required. Violators may be towed.
Parking Fee - $12.00, Senior Citizen - $6.00
Tennis Permit - $15.00, Senior Citizen - $7.00
