    Orthodox Christian Reformed Churches
    The first OCRC congregation was organized in Litowel (now Wingham), Ontario, in 1979 by families who had left the Christian Reformed Church for doctrinal reasons. Over the next few years, congregations were formed in Grand Valley, MI, Toronto, ON, and Burlington, WA. Representatives of these churches began meeting in 1981 to discuss church order and federation. The OCRC was formally organized in March 1988 with seven congregation. The denomination has since grown to 14 congregations in 2 classes. Together the churches contain approximately 1,400 members. NOTE: Churches are called Orthodox Christian Reformed except as noted. CRC - Covenant Reformed Church. ORC - Orthodox Reformed Church. The Cambridge church has a current list of congregations on its website.
